    Shopback has 24.5%/14% with a $50 cap.

    • +1

It tracked at 5% for me yesterday when it was 12% (I think).

      • SB or CR? CR was 12%, I don't think SB was.

        • +1

SB. My bad. It was 13%.

    • what do they mean seller from China not qualified ? the site is Chinese marketplace ffs …

      • Do you mean purchases from China? I imagine there were some shenanigans they had to shut down.

  • @Clear any good cheap portable monitors

    • +4

      Tomorrow's sale from 7pm :)

      • Is TC dropping the hammer again?

        • +7

          Without a doubt.

          • @Clear: Cool It's past tomorrow now :)

Probably not worth worrying about as I'm only looking for a few bits and pieces (non-affiliated items)

      • will we still get cashback if we use coupons from the sale tonight?

        • +1

Yes as long as the item is affiliated

    • Do you have heaps of AliExpress coins?

      • unless there is a trick, aliexpress coins are useless for me. 19cent discount on a $40 purchase and voids cashback so i end up never using it.

        • AliExpress app > Coins. I think the highest discount was 65%.

I've never had it void cashback either.

          • @Clear: I don't think you get a choice to not use them either do you?

            • @OzzyBrak: You do. Near where you enter the coupon it shows the discount applied and you can click to have them removed.

              • @Clear: Fair enough. I'll have a look next time. It would be sneaky to auto apply them just to invalidate cashback

                • +1

@OzzyBrak: It doesn't invalidate cashback. About 60 orders in Nov/Dec and 72 in January - all affiliated ones tracked and are confirming no issue.

                  • @Clear: tracking is unrelated. How many of your orders are actually confirmed. Dec and Jan would still be pending surely.

                    • @OzzyBrak: I make 20-70 orders a month and have over 12 months worth paid out. AliExpress offer increased affiliate rates during sales to their cashback partners and encourage coupon/coin usage for everyone. That's how we end up with deals like this.

                      • @Clear: You'll notice expertreader made the claim they invalidated cashback, not me.
How many of your orders from Dec and Jan have actually switched to confirmed? Or asked another way, based on your extensive ordering history and cashback tracking with aliexpress how long is it taking orders to confirm these days? I still have stuff pending from Dec.

My comment about it being sneaky to auto apply and not pay cashback supported your case btw. If they did we would see a note about removing coins on the cashback sites. I didn't even know they could be removed as I'd never attempted it.

                          • @Clear: Do you have a reading comprehension problem? Where have I disagreed with you? I was simply asking how long confirmation is taking as you implied in your earlier comments that Dec/Jan were confirming which seemed too early to me.

About 60 orders in Nov/Dec and 72 in January - all affiliated ones tracked and are confirming no issue.

                            • @OzzyBrak: Yes. Sometimes they will confirm earlier depending how quickly they're delivered. Others up to 90 days.

  • Lol, just bought at 12% at 6.30 pm before the other deal expired

  • That banner says up to 70% off on super deals. Is that for tomorrow's sale?

    • +6

It's always up to 70% off with Super Deals.

  • is it 30% for first time Ali customers or first time CR customers?

    • Ali

      • Have you got tracking successfully as a "new customer" for Ali? Welcome deal for new customer can be very cheap and I got away with few products few months ago.

  • How to do that?

Confirmation of delivery or goods received must be made on AliExpress within 90 days of placing your order to be eligible for cashback.

I tried to click on email but did not happen anything.

    • +2

After your receive the items, you go to the aliexpress app and mark them as received. This must be fine before 90 days pass

  • Is the cap per transaction?

  • Hmmm, no dice if i have to install the Aliexpress app. Surely it has some backdoor spyware built in

    • +2

That's the case with all apps versus their browser desktop counterparts because they allow for more data gathering and are less strictly controlled.

    • +2

Where does it say you must use the app? It just mentions how to be eligible when using the app. I've never used their app with CR.

      • I just discovered the hard way that you need the app to cancel an order. When I confirmed payment, the website froze so after waiting a minute I clicked the confirm payment button again and it went through but then showed two orders…

I tried to cancel one of the orders but then there's a pop-up that says: "Note: This function is only available on the app"

It's bullshit that I need to install their app to cancel an order.

  • How long is tracking for people? Ordered last night, nothing yet
