      Same happened at my local Brisbane DJs:
      Westfield Mount Gravatt closed last year. Few bargains - stock moved to other stores.

      Westfield Carindale had previously halved in size. Got some great bargains during the renovations.

      Staff at both stores happily marked down the price on clearance items or suggested what was free with my DJs vouchers. Will miss those helpful staff I got to know!

      Westfield Chermside store had far more staff than customers when I picked up a shirt this week.

    Get $10 or $20 birthday etc vouchers from DJs. Spent $50 of them in last few months.
    Got good free underwear with them during Sale in September. Then lots of free chocolates & biscuits last month.

    And some great bargains on clearance stock.
    Bought good $80 casual shirt last week in clearance sale for $15.80 (over 80% off) - paid with Gift Card. Best time to spend those Gift Cards!

    Other times - don't shop there, as cheaper elsewhere.
    So no negs from me😄

  Venture Capital company that bought, then listed Dick Smith, before it went bankrupt… Bought David Jones at start of 2023!

  Warned then, best to use up Gift Cards ASAP as is unsecured credit in a bankruptcy. Caused a lot of problems with Dick Smith collapse.

  But no issues so far. Still have some credit left on old $50 Gift Cards bought with bonus $10 Gift Card.
