That's a really good price for 65" LG G3. People can price match at JB Hi-Fi or The Good Guys and use discounted 15% off gift cards .

  • Damn it!! Just bought from JB on Friday! Wonder if they will price match as haven’t received the tv yet. 😭

  • The price for the 55" and 65" is the same on Buy Smarte. Not sure if either one is a price error?

  • Very tempted by the "A" grade factory seconds. Are these "too good to be true" type deals?

Had very bad experience with LG customer service, have a C1 77 inch dead within 2 years. LG insists repairs only, no replace or refund, despite it's clearly “unfit for its common purpose”
Seems it's not a single case,LG poor warranty was on the news

    • Wowzers. Took a bit of wrangling and invoking consumer law rights but lg replaced my 55 b6 oled screen years after purchase. That was a couple years back so they may have tightened up

Can also buy directly from LG for $3699 with 16% uncapped cashback ($538.04) taking total to $3160.96.

  • LG's price is back to $5299 with no or very limited stock

  • Don't know too much about TVs - would this be noticeably better quality than a TCL 65" Mini OLED?

    • +1

I presume you mean Mini LED. Yes. OLED TVs are a different ball game altogether. Infinite contrast makes colours pop like no other display technology can.

      • Thank you! For some reason I thought Mini LED was the newer/better display tech than OLED but will take a look at some OLED options now.

        • +1

OLED is fundamentally different than the rest of the LED technologies, the individual pixels can be turned on and off, that's why they are significantly dearer.

The rest (mini LED, QLED, full array LED) are just variations of how they use LED to light up a bunch of pixels. Manufacturers come up with gimmicky names to confuse the consumers.

        • Once you go OLED, you won't go back.

  • The 65" is $4 with free shipping to Sydney suburbs.

Not counting on an independent retailer based out of Campise NSW is going to honour that pricing error. :D

Edit: okay they have fixed that. 55" is now $3,299, 65" is 3,999
