you mean just like the (12) pens you sell on ebay for the same price??

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/170918441325?hlp=false#ht_500wt_1…

I hate it when someone tries to pull the wool over your eyes…

    • +4

downvote me all you like rep… 2 less pens for the same price = no deal.

  • +2

Its quite obvious that its a typo and the seller means to put Box of 12. Even the site description says so. Do you really think that the seller is trying to pull a fast one on you by understating the number of pens you'll get?

    • +4

Sure, the rep has wrote it 3 times in his post… either the seller is trying to rip us off or they ain't got a clue what they're doing, which doesn't fill me with confidence either way.

edit: cant believe i've got involved in a heated debate about 2 missing pens… jeez surely I must have better things to do…

I would say you can take the listing on the website as gospel, not this post… you don't buy from ozbargain you buy from the retailers website.

      • That's exactly it… you need to find something better to do obviously. Start appreciating the deals rather than scanning them for errors champ.

The problem is that there's more and more grammar Nazis on here, its a spreading virus that all the sheep are picking up. Like you said ejsteven, anyone with any logic understands what the deal is about. Some people need to get a life.

hey look, if its an honest mistake, then sure, i'll revoke the -ve and ask for the comments to be removed.

The amount of times this happens is not funny, you get rep's trying to peddle deals which aren't as good compared to their own ebay accounts or what they've offered previously.

        • Looks like an honest mistake which has been fixed.

Can't say a dozen pens for $30 is a good deal BUT they are mightier than these babies…

i get these free in the stationary cupboard…

    • +8

That's nothing, I get these free from a moving cupboard…

Putting on my grammar/spelling Nazi hat, I think you mean stationery (i.e. office supplies), not stationary (i.e. fixed, not moving)… :P

This is how I find out which one is which:

These are my favourite general-purpose pen, but the prices most stationery shops charge in Australia for them (~$50 for a box of 12) are an absolute rip-off considering they are available for about $1/pen in the US and other countries overseas.

$29.95 is an OK price for Australia, though, but if you're planning an order with Amazon anytime soon you can chuck in a box of these (0.5mm or 0.7mm version) for about $15 or less (postage is $8.48 is you want them shipped by themselves, so it's probably best to combine the order with something else for better value):

Edit: The 0.5mm version is currently listed at $20, but it gets discounted to $15 (and as low as $12) quite often: http://camelcamelcamel.com/Uni-ball-Vision-Exact-Roller-6062…

    • wow good stuff. I love these pens, made in Japan by Mitsubishi. But i pay full price like a sucker from OW ($25 i think, for the 4 pack)

Nothing against the deal but I've always hated these pens…

    • not sure if pen is of poor quality…

or guy doesnt know to write.

  • +1 for product; -1 for rep.

  • Can I buy 1 for $2.50? :p
