    • although it is a hassle (multiples of 160 points with individual codes) I was pretty pleased with the price of $7.50 per 800 points. Got my codes back straight away too, though will take a while to input them all.

    Agree with OP though - that is a good price for in-store points. Another OzBargain post that ultimately saved me money, though cost me money :)

    Currently this is not an issue "You're still able to use Microsoft Points, but the store defaults to credit card transactions."

      No question. Just flagging the information so people realise that they are possibly on the way out in the long term and it might not be the best idea to stock up unnecessarily.

        One would hope if MS does phase them out they will over a conversion for them, or always offer it (As they do with WIndows 8) as a 2nd payment option, nothing to really worry about,
