Happy Black Friday everyone. A nice bonus when you activate then spend $150 or more in one transaction at Amazon. We have up to 20% cashback today ($30 cap), and all tiers have a cashback component so all categories are eligible (see terms below). As you may be aware, this deal was inadvertently posted here earlier this mornng off a banner that was not meant to be live but without the activation link and without terms of the offer. If you made a purchase between 12am AEDT and 7:45am AEDT of $150 or more, please activate the offer now, then reach out to TA or myself after your order tracks and we'll take care of the $10 for you. Please read the following terms & tips carefully:

  1. To be eligible for the AUD $10 bonus, you must first activate the promotion on this page, then shop as normal via Amazon Australia at Cashrewards.
  2. After activation, transaction must be made between 8am AEDT 24 November 2023 and 11:59pm AEDT 24 November 2023.
  3. Bonus is eligible on qualifying purchases of AUD $150 in a single transaction. Qualifying purchase price is calculated inclusive of GST, after any discounts, but excludes any shipping costs. Sales may report to Cashrewards ex-GST so the purchase amount shown in your account may be less than $150 - you will still be eligible for the bonus if the actual qualifying purchase price is $150 or more.
  4. Bonus will be added automatically to your Cashrewards account as pending upon activation of this offer. Under some conditions there may be a delay of up to 60 minutes for the bonus to show in your account after activation.
  5. Bonus will be approved within 7 days of any associated qualifying purchase being approved, as per the terms of the store.
  6. Bonus is over and above the advertised store cashback rates which still apply to the transaction.
  7. Amazon reports orders with multiple items as separate entries into your Cashrewards account - these are still eligible.
  8. Transaction is valid if made online via desktop browser, Cashrewards mobile app, Cashrewards Notifier, or mobile browser.
  9. Bonus is limited to one per Cashrewards account. Additional transactions do not qualify for additional bonuses.
  10. Bonus is paid on eligible purchases, excluding delivery, taxes & GST.
  11. Fraudulent activity will result in rewards being forfeited and accounts closed.

Bonus is eligible for:

12. Items added to cart after clicking from Cashrewards.
13. Purchase of products paid with gift cards.
14. The first (new) Subscribe & Save order. Subsequent orders are ineligible.
15. Preorders, but only if the item is scheduled to be shipped within 60 days of purchase.

Bonus is ineligible on the following:

16. Purchase of vouchers, gift cards, Kindle Unlimited, Audible, mobile apps, Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals.
17. Second and subsequent Subscribe & Save orders (only first Subscribe & Save orders are eligible).
18. Purchases paid with any Amazon credit as partial or full payment.
19. Use of any promotional codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field.
20. Items added to cart prior to clicking from Cashrewards.
21. Items purchased from your Amazon wish list or 'saved for later' list.
22. Items that are cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded.
23. GST, other taxes and delivery fees.
24. Fraudulent transactions.


Handy tips:

Read my comment here to help determine what category items fall into. Amazon tracking typically takes 1-3 days to report into accounts (Amazon tracking is not instant). Do not activate the bonus unless you intend using it - it will decline after 14 days unless a qualifying purchase is made. For tracking success, ensure you disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close any additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from Cashrewards as tracking will be lost.       So dumb, so do I have to remove items from my wish list before adding them car???

      • Don't blame me if it doesn't work but I am pretty sure I recently tested if simply having the item in my wishlist prevented Cashrewards cashback and found that it worked fine. Note, that I did not add the item to the cart via the wishlist. I don't remember how I got to the item page, i.e. by searching or clicking from my wishlist. All in all, it seems I needed to record my method and results.

          So many excuses not to honour this deal…not eligible if Brisbane temp is above 20degrees and you're not wearing red socks with stripes at the time of purchase…

        I do this all the time. Save for later then add stuff when I'm ready to buy…normal behavior and Amazon features now not eligible…

    • This is a huge PITA and not sure why it affects CR and not TCB and SB - I found the best way around it is to click on whatever is in my wish list, and then go down to browser history (at the bottom of the browser) to find them and add to the cart.

    • I’m curious how Amazon tracks where we add items into the cart from. CR just inherits this limitation from their end anyways

    What is a Amazon credit?

    I got promotion of $15 discount on next order automatically applied to my order and I can not remove it. Will this affect cashback?

    • I remember in the Payment Method options, there is a small ticket that by default to use the promo credit, you can untick it to be eligible for the cashback.

  • If an item has a coupon in the listing (eg $50 off coupon) that you have to click into the checkbox, and an extra 5% applied at checkout, would it invalidate this cashback? Wasn't sure if this makes it Amazon credit?

      I can't see it listed in T&C, but I would assume coupons will invalidate cashback.

    Anyone noticed that through the phone app when You click amazon it loads for a few secs then pulls up the actual official Amazon app rather then the browser it normally shows through the cash rewards app? Will it still track

    does the cashback app track the purchase after you get redirected to the Amazon shopping app?

    • I'd like to know this too. It used to remain inside the CR app container but I've noticed recently it opens the Amazon app. No idea if it tracks or not when it does this.

    Has anyone noticed tracking taking a while? A bit woried an item could have been on saved for later list :(
    I used gift cards, could cancel but does it take a long time to get the credit back if unshipped?

  • Purchased >$150 worth of stuff, but had one item delivered to a different address. Processed as one transaction, but then Amazon generated two separate order numbers. Haven't done this before, does anyone know if this will cause an issue? Only added the last item to get the $10 back.

  • I cancelled the orders and refund was given immediately, reordered to make sure I didnt accidentally have the items on wishlist.

  • This one is so misleading. I ordered about 2am when I am sure it said you can order seperately and not in one transaction with no banner to click. Just realised and cancelled the orders for the second time. Its great Amazon are so good about cancelling orders instantly and refunding gift cards, probably better than using card because you get it back instantly! Just saw the error above. Glad its sorted now!

    Hi guys. Amazon tracking is starting to filter through now for yesterday's sales (24/11/23). Note that transactions report to Cashrewards based on category (once tracking for one entire category is complete, it moves onto the next one). So if you made an order with multiple items from different categories, you’ll need to be patient until the others track later. Due to the enormous size of the transactional report, this will take most of the day to complete. Thank you :)

    • Amazon/Cashrewards need to hire more data scientsts to help speed this up!
