RIP 737 Max 8. FYI 737 Max 8 is more cost effective than 737-800 but is unsafe to fly.
Due to political and commercial reasons this model is allowed to fly again but it has far more issues than other similar purpose planes. You can choose to ignore the risk but you have to know it.
This company only has 4 planes and they are the same notorious 737 Max-8. It is a shame that the recently bankrupted Virgin Australia company also want to use this model to get more profit because if they fly the same model their cost and seat count will be very similar and that means no competitive margin. Virgin choose profit rather than safety. I understand this company is always in hardship but this simply means red light for anyone who care about flight safety.
