  bob19, just like last time, Virgin Australia is doing the same $150 off deal right now for travel from 30 October to 12 December 2012; 22 January to 26 March 2013 and 4 April to 26 June 2013.       ayubleh, there is no direct link or code needed. When you go to the Virgin Australia home page, then under the red booking area up the top there is a photo slide show. The first photo is of a plane and reads "Now you're flying". The next photo in the sequence is of this $150 off NZ promo, and clicking on that photo takes you to the link below which doesn't specifically say $150 off but shows the discounted fares: http://www.virginaustralia.com/au/en/specials-offers/flight-…

      I found out about it via a direct email from Virgin/Velocity.

  seem to their best discount, went to South island on late Jan, this year still within school holiday. Hired a Tarago, long day light, excellent family holiday.:)

  I would rather go with them if this promotion came earlier.
  But I already booked with jetstar. They cancelled my flight last week so I had no choices accepted their offer changing flights.

  Cheapest flights from Melbourne to Auckland are about $270, to Christchurch at around $220 (over $250 if you add luggage)

    If you're flying with someone you're effectively getting a $22 give voucher as Virgin charges $7 per sector per person for paying using a credit card
