SWMBO and the kids convinced me to go big in last years Myer 50% of sale in these lights.
This year the Johnson's have upped the ante so i needed moar cheap twinkly lights, much cheaper than JB hifi
I have a fair few sets of these and its pretty easy to set up with the app.

my sample size is not good, i have only had them up for a few weeks in the last 13 months. but they have stayed working through disgustingly hot regional NSW summer and also 60mm of rain this week and lots of wind
I bought two 600 LED sets three years ago. Permanently fit them to our 2.7m tree, even cutting the wires and putting in clips to make dismantling the tree possible. They have been faultless now three years in a row. Spend the stiem in the app doing an advanced scran and try to get all around the tree. I spent about 30 mins doing ours and the results then are very accurate.
I have 3 x 250s and a music dongle from last year's sale. Just grabbed 2 of the 400s. Christmas tree being delivered this week, considering putting some of these on the tree in the front garden, I just hope they don't get stolen.

was contemplating a set and missed this deal, saw myer and david jones have them but realised they were only the RGB sets and not the RGBW.
seem JB have the RGBW sets so will have to keep an eye on those for when they drop a bit more
These much more durable then Bunnings cheapo ones?
