I've had no issues with any of the bigger UCS/flagship sets I've ordered from Amazon AU in the past, the latest one I purchased being the UCS Razor Crest, which is is a much larger/heavier box than the one for the 42143. It still arrived in mint condition.
That being said, this is coming from Amazon Japan, so it's a longer shipment transit and likely handled by more couriers.

Yeah, that's my main concern. Part of me knows that the Japanese can be insanely meticulous with packaging and handling, but the other part of me realises that sooner or later the shipment is going to end up in the hands of AusPost or some dodgy delivery driver who's going to just dump it carelessly at the front door.
EDIT: Never mind, looks like Amazon have made the decision for me!
The Lego box for the Lego Lamborghini I ordered from Amazon JP arrived in perfect condition. I can't remember the condition of the outer box though.
