Better handling and physics than F1 22, but there's still people who prefer the older games. Las Vegas is apparently great fun in game, Karun Chandok used the game to learn the track prior to the first GP there. It's just arcadey enough to be playable for everyone, and just simmy enough to keep you around.

I recently got it an am absolutely loving it. I usually love arcade racers but this has enough assist options that I can tune to my liking. And the cars feel fantastic!
How is it with a gamepad or is it only worth it with a wheel?

It's okay on a controller but only really playable with driving assists on, which kind of takes away the fun of an F1 experience. But if you're exclusively playing on a controller i'd look at the Grid series, they're a good bit of simcade fun
Works with a gamepad fine, but will need a bit of settings tweaking to be truly competitive.
Works great for me - even has dualsense support with adaptive triggers, haptics etc. (needs to be wired in though)

Any opinion on what it’s like. Not usually into car racing games, but thought about picking this up for the Las Vegas track.
