They don't lose money. They get the same payment from head office no matter what.
Correct. They also make almost nothing off fuel anyway. It's all from convince store sales.

Spot on. I explain it more in my AMA on here but basically it’s corporate who run and profit from the fuel side. Franchisees can choose to add it to their site to help draw customers into the store. It works, very well.
As a general rule, corporate take half of all profits too. Fuel is different, but put simply the store probably makes just enough from fuel to cover the miscellaneous staffing expenses related to the upkeep of it. If a store gets a drive off it’s a massive loss to the franchisee.

It doesn't affect him in any way. Franchisees also rarely work in their own stores. Usually they'll work as a manager if absolutely necessary.
It also wouldn't affect the franchisee as they still get the full profit for the fuel. They were probably just puzzled how you scored it so cheap.

Hahaha we don’t. The owner and managers of the stores I worked at would have sliced me up if I did.
There are literally no reasons us to hide them. The staff have probably just been lazy or the manager has screwed up in ordering or telling the staff to move the promo stock out of storage.
Weird, he was really friendly at first, but after I scanned the fuel lock and quickly tapped my card, he didn't say another word.
I asked for a receipt and he didn't say anything, just handed it to me looking annoyed, then when I said "Thank you so much have a good afternoon" he just grunted.
I think some of them just get offended on behalf of the business.

I successfully filled up this morning. Funny thing I actually went to Emu Plains, since it was a massive discount, and only realised they don't stock 95 when I got there. Filled up in Penrith instead, no questions.

I had 4 accounts, I used two lock-ins during that day. The other 2 accounts that locked in the price got banned. Cannot log in at all. Must be because I left the lock-ins untouched.
