          Chevron has acquired Puma Energy shortly after the Ampol Divorce and has since gradually rebranded them to Caltex with Techron (Premium Fuels).
          Chevron has been the sole license owner of Caltex in Australia from 2023 after Ampol phased out the use of the Caltex trademark by the end of 2022.

          Edit: Chevron also acquired 25 Shell Coles Express stations in Adelaide (and has since rebranded them Caltex with Techron) as part of Viva Energy's divestment of Shell stations in SA as part of their acquisition of the OTR chain.

          Any Caltex locations has nothing to do with Ampol whatsoever. Old Caltex sold Ampol's Vortex Premium Fuels (which has been rebranded Amplify) whereas 'new' Caltex in Australia sells Chevron's Techron Fuels, which is the worldwide Caltex premium brand.

      Chevron bought Puma and have rebranded that business to Caltex. Ampol, a separate company, previously used the Caltex name under license from Chevron until that agreement expired, thus the rebrand to Ampol.

      Chevon owns the Caltex trademark, licenced to Caltex Australia.
      Chevron cancelled Caltex (Australia) use of the Caltex brand in 2019 forcing transition to Ampol (for Caltex Australia)
      Chevron purchased 'Puma' stations in Australia
      Puma stations transitioned to Caltex

      Chevron sold 49% of Caltex Australia and took back the exclusive rights to use the 'Caltex' branding. Those stations had to be renamed to Ampol. In 2020, Chevron bought Puma service stations and renamed them as Caltex as well as opened new stations.     It's worth it to sign up initially.
    You get 1 point per litre. 500 points = $10 voucher.
    98 octane fuel gets 2 points per litre.

    When you sign up you get 250 points. Your first fill up is double points for the number of litres filled.
    Up until 31 dec, if you fill up once, you receive a bonus of 500 points. $10 discount.

    Today i also got an additional 500 points for today's christmas promotion. Another $10 discount.

    Based on the list of prizes for each day. I intend to fill up on the 7th to get another 500 points which is another $10 discount.

    I filled up for about $20 today, but I wasn't allowed to use my RACQ discount, as well as my CaltexGo membership. So I just used my 4c RACQ discount.
