not really a deal, the MSI A620M has been $138 for couple of months now, https://www.umart.com.au/product/msi-pro-a620m-e-am5-matx-mo…

Depends on what you're after. Gigabyte board looks to have a stronger VRM, SSD heatsink, rear USB C, BIOS flashing without CPU and free delivery.

      • You're forgetting one of the most important differences, 4 RAM slots which is extremely nice further down the line.

        • I didn't mention that because support is meant to be iffy, officially the current AM5 CPUs only support up to 3600Mhz when using 4 sticks, you can't even buy RAM that slow.

          • @BROKENKEYBOARD: Official support is garbage just to cover bad sticks. It does make sense though when it comes to dual-rank but that was an issue even on my current AM4 motherboard (ended up rebuying 2x16GB of RAM for $90 as the extra 2 dual rank 3200 that I got from my brother's old build didn't want to go above 2400) as well as some Intel motherboards. If you buy single-rank you should have an easier time with 4 sticks imo.

In this case i'm thinking the Gigabyte Board is probably better, if only because it has a piece of metal that almost looks like a heatsink on it's VRM, as opposed to absolutely nothing.
