These docks were orginally $49.98 on the price label instore, they were reduced to 19.98 and when I went to the register they said the item also came up on their system as get a free $20 Itunes Card as Well !! They were just a surprised and double checked before grabbing a couple for themselves. .
These docks are good as they can fit the Iphone / Ipad on the charger stand whilst leaving the cover on the device.
You have better will power than me. Not sure what I'm going to do with today's 3 amps/htibs and now yet another iPod dock…

The cards are usually point of sale activated, which means the computer system always thinks that there is none in Stock when they might have hundreds of cards waiting to be activated on purchase.

Nope. Only volume up, down, play/pause. Basic, between cheap and good quality. Not sure about the sound quality however.

Yer I see this, it does also say online exclusive on the banner.. but some of the docks actually have it come up either on the page, or when you add them to your cart.. some don't though. Seems random haha
you need to go to the store to collect it anyway, so just take a printout of the itunes offer with you, in case they do not want to give you one…

my partner picked one up from Hobart store, nice unit, but Ipad can't be put on dock with existing cover (it is a thicker cover though). Good strong speakers though, better than I thought they would be

Gave the 1st unit and card as gift and we tried to set it up there and then , its faulty! , 2nd one works perfectly - loud too !

i just got one from chadstone dick smith. Got at least 8 units in stock in store. But, before purchased, make sure there got charger inside. One of the box doesnt have charger on it.

confirm got iTunes. no problem… quick and easy transaction. the sore guy confused and even said that i make profit of 2 cents.. but anyway, yeah… not bad.. going to try it now

I just bought 3 of them from werribee.. It doesn't work with a ipad 3 but works with ipad 2.. The manual doesn't list Ipad 3 either or iphone 4s.. So perhaps these are an older stock that they're only now trying to get rid of.. oh well, lucky i bought them with the mind of needing the itunes cards..

Works fine with my iPhone 4S running IOS 6. Doesn't work with my IPad 3 (new IPad or whatever you want to call it) which was purchased this year and running iOS 5…so maybe only some of the new iPads work with the unit?

Okay, after trying it a third time with the iPad (cover off) it finally registered and managed to charge, but would not play music through the dock. Deemed dock was faulty. Got a new one and now all is working with the new iPad!

Just what sort of Dick Smith shop doesn't have itunes cards? They don't show as in stock because they're not activated..
But is everyone else getting that same message? That all the shops they look at have no stock?
Correct.. all the stores around me have stocks of the docks but no stocks of the gift cards..
I had the same problem, so I rang my local store and asked. Turns out to be a Click and Collect glitch. Rep checked on the instore system and the ITunes code came up no worries. She then put 2 away for me.
