    Yeah right.!

That's a fair amount of risk as a buyer. Should at least offer refund if it doesn't work

Can a store sell (even second hand) goods with no refund? In SA, you can't do that.

  • do they come with toners?

    • Lol. I assume the toner cost a small fortune.

      • Inkstation has TNP44 Toner Cartridge (20,000 page yield) for $130

      • yeah lol tried researching. Stuff way more expensive than the printer.

    • Absolutely. But ACCC don't have enough resource to go after small fish. Here is their report form, mostly for data collection purposes.

      • Mediaform? Small fish?

      • ACCC doesn't have to get involved directly, you can lodge a complaint with your state's Fair Trading office after complaining to the business about a refund and then FT will take up the case. They can then escalate as needed including resolution, fines etc as required.

NO refund ? call that BS
If it does not work or does not match the description eg IN WORKING CONDITION & FULLY TESTED then that is a refund plain and simple.
Pay via credit card or paypal and do a reversal if they dont play nice.

Another thing, cant work out postage until after proceeding to cart, sign in etc - dodgy practice.

  • I use to work for KM trust me just avoid all of their older models

yeah i used to repair printers as part of my job

parts of these things can well exceed $55 simply because these are geared towards businesses who will PAY dearly so their staff can get invoices, shipping docs out etc etc

unless you live in NW syd and are well aware of these workgroup mfds and own an SUV so you can pickup then… move on
