  • Does this K1 have the new extruder etc?

I asked their chat about this yesterday and was told all K1 models sold after mid July have the updated parts. Hope that’s true with this great price!

      • Thanks!

  • Store name and delivery cost (or Delivered if free) in title

  • Ender-3 S1 Pro 3D is $454

      Bambulabs a1. Wait till bf

      • Thanks

      • tiny print area.

      • No, that is not the same category. It is like somebody asking you about recommendation between two car models and you recommend them electric scooter.

    • For $170 more K1 is no brainer. Check recent Youtube reviews (from past few weeks after Creality added camera, and replaced extruder). K1 is now a solid competition to Bambu labs P1P especially at $615.70, although Creality is/was notorious for poorly supporting their released printers and churning new models instead, Bambu Labs may have forced them to up their game - too early to tell.

Buy a bambu printer. They might do bf deals. Creality is toxic. They wont help you with after sales support.

    • Ive heard bambu is the same

Anecdotal but I've had issues where my x1c dug the nozzle into the bed. Contacted support sent me a new bed.

      • Bambu lab support is good.

  • +1

K1 can not reach the quality of Bambu lab printers still (not even A1) but it is very fast and easy to use (way easier than ender series) so someone wants to print mass products of single colour simple functional parts, K1 will do the best and the price of 600 AUD is amazing.

  • Reviews for this printer were pretty poor. It's doesn't have a big print area and it doesn't support multicolour prints.

Can you link to a printer that can do these things for $655?

Long-term exposure to resin fumes or contact with uncured resin can lead to allergic reactions as well as severe respiratory issues. Additionally, studies have discovered that 3D printing resins can release carcinogenic particles, meaning that exposure may increase the risk of cancer / VOCs

This is a an FDM printer not a resin one. The encased design may make it look like a resin printer but it is far from.

  • I had a K1 Max, with the “new” parts. Had so many issues with it. The extruder jammed several times, and clearing it was a PITA. I did like having Klipper and root access to it, but the other issues just outweighed it. Luckily, I bought it from JayCar so returning it was easy! Bought a Bambi 1S instead, haven’t had any issues whatsoever.

    • Thanks for the feedback. How long had you either printers for?

      • Not sure what you mean about “either printers”, but I had the K1 for about 2 weeks; using it every day and having at least one issue every day. I’ve had the P1S for over a month now.

        • Meant each, thanks mate!
