Have these and can confirm decent little set of speakers especially at this price.
Occasionally I get some light distortion at max volume, but they get pretty loud and I rarely have them at max.
There is also a variant that has subwoofer input called R1700BTS. This is NOT those and has no subwoofer expandability.
