27 inch is no good for FHD tho,
27 inch is no good for 4k either
my current monitors are a 32" 2k and a 28" 4k and they're ok for what they are
24" has become a secretary receptionist type shitter monitor
find a 27" 2k but these are like double the price of a shitty 24" at least?
eg.
Dell S2721DS 27" Monitor QHD 2560 x 1440 75Hz - $262.34 (Was $319) Delivered @ Dell
The 2k monitors are generally much brighter, thinner bezels, and have dual DP ports or something. Might find some DV-I on some of these older 24" FHD screens.
Man y people are fine with FHD on 27". That's what I'm using to type this, and what I used to play a Fortnite tournament earlier tonight.
is 250 nits bright enough?
Yes for a typical indoor set-up. For reference, I bought the $99 msi 25inch which has a brightness of 300 nits but I normally only keep the brightness at around 65%.
It would be a different story if your desk is in a sun room or right next to a window.
After going 27 inch, 24 inch seems too small now for me
But good price nonetheless
