There are two ways coins can be redeemed: Transfers of coins to Coinbase which is free, where coins can be converted to AUD.

The alternative option is a cash-out service, in which Shping acts on behalf of its users by transferring their coins to a cryptocurrency exchange. This process involves trading Shping Coin for USDC (a stablecoin) and subsequently converting USDC to AUD (Australian Dollars). The ultimate goal is to facilitate the distribution of the resulting funds to the Australian bank accounts of the app users. However, it's important to note that this service is not provided free of charge; there is a cost associated with it.

Most users cash out once a month and find the $1.50 fee palatable given the app is free to use and they are earning the coins for fairly low effort.

My stomach says thanks OP for a freebie this time that isn't all chocolate.

Thanks @TeamShping for sharing this freebie !!

    • You're welcome! :)

      • @TeamShping
I have not recieved booster points for Triwl & Raw C coconut water
, I have sent you message with details, could you please advise
        Thanks

  • The product recognition is getting better! Still sometimes misses the flavour, size etc. but the booster coins usually now come through by the next day even in such a case (is someone checking these products manually?). Understandable because the shorthand description on the actual receipt is often unclear.

We're learning and improving all the time, thanks for noticing! :) We've some exciting updates coming soon so watch this space!

      • hey so do I still qualify if I get the same brand/weight but different flavour, e.g. Smooth instead of Crunchy?? General question though - since I've previously been limited in terms of the flavours for the chocolate.

This is a curiosity rather than a complaint/criticism, but why does transferring the Shping coins to Coinbase Wallet sometimes take longer?
Usually the transfer will arrive in my wallet within a few minutes, but I transferred yesterday and still haven't received in the wallet.
Anything to do with high volume of crypto transactions in general (BTC and ETH gas fees are through the roof now) over the last couple of days? I seem to remember the slow transfer occuring only a few times, and seem to remember it being in a similar environment.
If so, is it to do with Shping or rather the capacity of Coinbase to receive the coins?

Thanks for all you do 😁

Hey thanks for asking, we've identified some updates we need to make on our end to align with recent updates Coinbase have rolled out. Our team are currently addressing these and will let you know when these are resolved.

  • can't see booster in the app still

    • hey thats strange, feel free to private message us with your account details (email address) so we can look into this for you. Cheers

      • Hi, for some reason my profile did not have Australia as the country. changing this now shows the boosters.

  • This app provides a pretty good return for uploading receipts compared to other cashback deals out there. Plus it's crypto and so there's a good chance I can sell these shp tokens for a pretty good premium during the next bullrun.

"…there's a good chance I can sell these shp tokens for a pretty good premium during the next bullrun".

      No, there really isn't…

  • I scanned the receipt, it said product recognised, didn't get the booster… so annoying. I don't want to have to constantly talk to tech support.

  • What is the best way to go about correcting a receipt? I scanned my WW receipt and it recognized 1 item. I have 5 on my receipt and one of them was the twirl booster. Is it best to delete and scan again or submit a ticket to support or what?

I have tried deleting and re scanning before but then it says previous receipt found and it removes the points.

    • That happened to me and I had to talk to support chat to get it fixed. Now my peanut butter was recognised but not applied.

    • Hey, please DM us your details and we'll help you with this.

      • Is there an option for future app improvement feedback to have a report an error button and the app automatically gathers the data, receipt etc and allows us to type a free text field for support?

        • +1

Hey there, Thanks for that suggestion, will definitely pass that onto the team. We're always looking at ways to improve your experiences within the app!

  • Loving the app :) Hit and miss sometimes for me still learning the rules but it's definitely rewarding. Thanks team ❤

    • Love to hear this :) let us know if you need any help along the way

Thanks for being transparent with the withdrawal fees this time! Though you've actually made it sound worse than it is - it's probably worth highlighting that you can withdraw for free for the first 3 weeks.

  • Thanks OP, another good deal!

  • Why not have the dollar value of the boosters in the app as well as the coin value?

    • Good feedback!

More a future question as this isn't a woolies deal. Can I upload my E receipt as I have unticked the option for paper receipt from Woolies

    • Good question, same here.

      • +1

Yep, you can share them directly to the Shping app from your everyday rewards app

@TeamShping - hey hope you guys can do something about people creating multiple accounts to get multiple freebies. I've seen someone recently buy 10 of these each on a separate receipt - although not accusing anyone, but good chances someone can get away. Hope we have DeviceID & Bank account restrictions or some form of security to avoid multiple accounts.

    • +1

Thanks so much for flagging, we'll definitely investigate this as we do have restrictions that cover this.

  • How do you contact tech support? Can't see it in the app.
Uploaded receipt, shows 2 products but don't see the booster rewards.

    • Hey, you can DM us here with your email address so we can look into this for you or jump to our website www.shping.com for live chat. Cheers

  • Is there cost to transfer shping rewards to your bank account ? What are available options to avoid the bank transfer cost ?
    @TeamShping

    • Hey there, it is free for new members for 25 days, then there is a $1.50 transaction fee.
You can withdraw your coins to Coinbase instead of bank account and there is no fee for that.

  • Costs $1.50. Free if new member and you withdraw within 25 days.

  • Finding it too hard to get paid out
