What: Summer Open Day

When: Saturday 9 December, 2023

Time: 8am - 3pm

Need a way to entertain the kids and have some fun with the family?

Looking to chat with a health and wellbeing expert about positive lifestyle choices?

Or want to trial one of our fitness classes such as a spin, HIIT or yoga?

Then look no further than our Summer Open Day, where we'll be throwing the doors wide open to all of our pools and fitness centres across the City of Sydney - and the best part, it's all FREE!

We’ll be offering a wide range of activities, in-centre events, and giveaways and prizes will be up for grabs throughout the day.

Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre

  Does this include the spa and sauna as well? Usually have to pay extra for those. Thanks for sharing op!

  edit: nvm says all free so presumably spa/sauna will be free then. will have to find out on the day.

  They are built with our taxes, rates whatever. They should always be free. At least a couple of days a week. People want to extra contributions to councils' budgets can do on other days or even any time w/o being asked.

    And if you don’t ever use them why should your rates be spent on providing this service? It isn’t really an essential. It still needs to be manned and maintained. Some sort of copayment makes sense.

  Looks like Saturday will be a scorcher. Great timing for free entry although this means it will be packed
