  • If I want a wifi connection, is there a difference between the Intel AX WiFi 6 Kit and the Wifi mobo upgrade? Thanks

    • +3

Performance wise, not much difference :)

Personally prefer wifi mobo as the build will look more clean.

      Sincerely,
      BPC Team

    • +4

It is unclear whether BPC's Intel AX WiFi 6 kit is WiFi 6 or WiFi 6E. That kit will take the PCIe x1 slot on the motherboard and most likely a USB internal header (for bluetooth). If you don't mind DIY, then WiFi 6E kits are being discounted on AliExpress. The main reason is Intel now has a new WiFi 7 product (though technically, WiFi 7 is quite new so it is not fully certified for WiFi 7 and the WiFi 7 kit costs close to 2X more).

One advantage of Wifi included in M/B is it leaves the PCIe x1 slot available and doesn't need that USB internal header cable connected. However, the WiFi module is most likely not upgradable (if you later decided to upgrade to WiFi 7).

    • +1

Both of the above comments hit the nail on the head. It's just cleaner and frees up ports/slots but you have to be happy knowing you are stuck with what's on the MoBo.
Honestly for me the extra upfront cost for the ASRock is a no brainer.

  • Hey @BPC Technology

Would it be possible to buy this build without an SSD?

    Thanks

  • Are there any 360 Aio cooler options that could be added and in white

    • Hi there,

Due to the case size, we currently reccomend to have 240mm aio here :)

      Sincerely,
      BPC Team

  • Hi all,

I am considering upgrading the CPU to ryzen 9 3D.

I'd like to know if the cooling options are suffice?

I am also getting the Fractal North case and understand there is no room for 360mm cooler unless case fans are swapped which makes the build but more complex.

If 240mn aoio coolers are OK for ryzen 9thrn no probs.

    • The 3d series operate far lower than non 3d models and would draw around 120 by default but up to 160 watts which the 240 AIO will cover easily.
Don't worry about upgrading the cooler.
Your case is also an awesome airflow case which helps (despite using an AIO)

      • Great thank you for the response!

  • Any chance of adding this https://www.bpctech.com.au/product/o11dexl-x-lian-li-o11-dyn… ?
    Thanks in advance

    • Ok Sure :)

  • Any chance of adding AM5
NZXT N7 B650E Motherboard Black DDR5 as an optional mobo? And the option to add a second nvm drive?

    • +1

      Hi Adolin,

      Thanks for the advice,!

But unfortunately the NZXT mobo is very limited we can't source it from the supplier at the moment.

      Apolojies for that.

      Sincerely,
      BPC Team

      • Any chance of ASUS ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming Wi-Fi DDR5? I see that's in stock?
Would they be able to update the bios? Apparently older Asus Bios software likes to cook the 7800x3d

        Annnnd the 2tb 990pro?

I think I would pull the trigger with those options.

Is a 2nd nvm an option? or the site just won't let you add it? Like if I just purchase another at the same time can they install it too

        • +1

          Hi Adolin,

          Apolojies for the late response.

I will ask the team to add the options, however sales team updated specs and price this morning.

But they did told me they will adjust the price once new stock arrived.

          Cheers,
          BPC Team

  • I cant seem to add the  Gigabyte X-AX mobo upgrade? disappears when I add to cart.

    • -1

I can see it. The Asrock Mobo is gone though.

  • Hey Store Rep BPC. I purchased a few days ago for pickup in store. Regarding the freebie is it possible to change out the HP keyboard and mouse for something I actually want plus cash your way to pickup a keyboard or mouse I actually want? Cheers

    • Sure, PM me your order number :)

  • I'm having issues with adding upgrades, which disappear once I view my cart.

edit: working now but the Lexar ram upgrade is gone?

  • Hey @BPC Rep

The site still seems to be showing the old base price of $2999 and showing the old base options.

I assume the base RAM is now the Lexar RGB 6400 32GB?

Would it be possible to add this RTX 4070 as a GPU option: https://www.bpctech.com.au/product/gv-n4070wf3oc-12gd-gigaby…

Could you also add the SilverStone FARA R1 Pro V2 Black case as an option?

    Thanks

  • Hi DBZLenegend8000,

The team has add the 4070 option but unfortunately we don't have any of the silver stone Fara case instock.

Yes there's been a website listing error, the ram is the lexar model now.

However the team updated the specs and price, the PSU, Case, motherboard all changed.

    Sincerely,
    BPC Team

    • +2

The website is completely bugged out at the moment. The price is now $3299 instead of $3099 and there are 4 GPU options which if I select downgrade in each one, I can get it down to $700 LOL.

      • Thanks for the reminder, team fixed it already :)

    • @BPC Rep
      Thanks for your reply!

No worries, I'll just pick one of the other cases.

Sorry to ask, but was wondering if you can add the AMD 7500F as a CPU option?

Since the Asrock B650M PG Riptide WiFI is out of stock, I was wondering if I can order and set payment as bank transfer like you mentioned below to another user and then I can remain in the queue til the Asrock Motherboard stock returns and adjust the price accordingly?

      Thanks

  • Hey rep, is it possible to select a different case from your website that's not listed as an option for this build?

    • +1

Let me know what case it is I can ask team add to the options :)

      • Is it possible for you guys to order the Cooler Master SL600M in Silver?

        • +1

Its shows ETA at the moment, would you mind looking for case shows instock :D

          • @BPC Technology: Is it possible to place an order for this system with a case that's currently out-of-stock and just have it shipped when all parts are available? The other cases I'm considering all appear to be out of stock currently.

            Also, two other queries:

            • Has the $3,099 price officially expired now?
            • What happened to the mobo upgrade options? There's none listed currently.
            • +1

              @Miami Mall Alien: Hi,

Most of the upgrade options sold out at the moment, but the team might add a few.

Its expired for the moment, once the new stock arrived we will have the good price back :)

The current 3299 due to most of the parts upgraded :)

And sure if you can wait defintely we can help with the case upgrade!

              Cheers,
              BPC Team

              • @BPC Technology: Thanks rep.

I wanted to order this build with the Lian Li Lancool 216RW (White) and the following upgrades:

                • AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D
                • Lexar ARES RGB DDR5-6400 CL32-38-38-76 32GB Kit (2x16GB) White
                • Samsung 990 PRO 1TB SSD

So if I place the order now, do I get the $3,099 base price (minus upgrades) in the final invoice? Or do I have to wait until you guys lower the price again?
Any ETA on when that price drop will happen?

                • +1

@Miami Mall Alien: If you place the order now the base price will be 3299 as I mentioned we upgraded the PSU and mobo,

However you can choose to place the order with bank transfer (don't pay), tell me the order number I can put you in queue.

so if there is any customer cancelled his order, we will notify you so you can take his base build to fullfill your upgrades :)

                  Cheers,
                  BPC Team

                  • @BPC Technology: So how I can place an order for this build with the Lian Li Lancool 216RW (White) case then?

And what would be the ETA on that case?

                    • +1

@Miami Mall Alien: I will ask the team to add the case in the option once we confirmed ETA with Lian Li :)

You should able to see the option appears on Wednesday or Thursday!

                      Cheers,
                      BPC Team

                      • @BPC Technology: Thanks very much.

I emailed your sales address with a few queries about cases and other customisation options, so I'll continue the discussion there.

I love getting downvoted based on my own personal experience. What a bunch of morons.

Tl;dr:- I purchased this PC and it was dead on arrival. Their senior manager drove 2+ hours to my place to fix it.

Okay, here's my story. I finally bought the PC after much deliberation because BPC Tech reviews game me mixed feelings. Some reviews were great and some were indicating their experience terrible.

Bought the PC late night on Thursday and left a PM on OzBargain to arrange for pickup on Saturday. I've been told their processing time was 2-3 working days but they are happy to accomodate my request because I would be travelling from regional VIC (2.5 hours, 1 way) to pickup.

I specifically told them to stress test the PC and make sure everything is in order because I cannot keep travelling 2.5 hours to get the PC to their store and back. I didn't want to use other shipping methods. I had to save money for months to buy this PC, so yes I don't want to trust shipping companies but would rather drive 2+ hours making sure my PC is being handled carefully.

Picked up the PC on Saturday and I've been told the PC was tested and good to go. Side note here - their store was excellent. Tried a few keyboards (switches) and chairs while I was there.

It all went downhill after I reached home and connected the PC for the first time. All the components get their power and light up yet no display on the monitor. Intially, I felt I'm missing something and went on to read and watch tutorials. Hours of troubleshooting later, I still didn't have a solution. I didn't contact them as it was weekend and they weren't open.

I was super frustrated to have a dead-on-arrival PC despite having the confirmation that it was tested. First thing on Monday morning, I PM'd them on Oz Bargain and emailed writing my experience and how frustrating it felt.

They replied asking me to send a video so they can understand what's happening. After emailing the video, they asked me to update bios and gave me wrong link to bios files. This was the tipping point for me. If I had tried to update bios with files from the link they sent, I would've bricked my motherboard. They didn't realise I upgraded my mobo and accidentally sent me the wrong link and thankfully I was aware that's not the right motherboard. I am not great with latest PC components and never updated bios before.

I called the store and talked to their store rep explaining (aka yelling) how infuriating it is to have a doa PC and they aren't helping me to fix it.

This is where things starting turning to good. Ben, one of their senior managers called me back. He patiently waited for me to explain everything. His solution was to have the PC shipped back to their store and I said I didn't want to ship the PC but would rather drive all the way to Mulgrave. He understood it's a 2+ hours drive and not the ideal solution for me. He then said something which blew my mind - "because it seems like it's our fault, I will personally drive to your place and pick up the PC". I was not expecting that. I still did not believe him, I thought no way is some senior manager going to drive 2+ hours to take my PC back to their store.

Guess what, 8pm on a Monday evening, he was knocking my door. Ben was incredibly helpful, he fixed the issue. It was not a bios update. It was simply a compatibility issue with my monitor going to sleep when it's not detecting an OS. On Sunday, I tried both HDMI and DP cables and different monitors but still couldn't get it to boot. He explained it's a fairly common error and how I can fix it myself if it were to ever happened again. He also offered me OS-related freebie which I'm not sure I can reveal here. Ben, if you're reading this, you are an absolute gem for understanding customer frustration and offering a resolution by going out of your way.

I definitely would recommend BPC tech. I know their website is awful at times. I know they had and still have their ups and downs. But they proved, at least to me, that they care about their customers and will not rest till the issues are resolved.

    • Wow thats great customer service awesome to hear.

    • I'm glad it all worked out :)
Gives us hope that kindness in humanity still exists

    • +4

Reply from Ben: Appreciated your feeback bro :) good to meet u last night. but plz don't reveal the os thing :D

  • Hi @BPC Technology, Can I purchase the bundle and pay the difference for a mobo swap? ASUS TUF Gaming B650M-E Wi-Fi DDR5 Motherboard, specifically.

    • Hi Reyas,

I've asked the sales team to add the mobo in the updade options already :)

      Sincerely,
      BPC Team

      • Hi BPC Rep,
I think the sales team might have added the wrong Motherboard. The Asus TUF Gaming B650M-E WiFi is not available in the options, a different Asus TUF Motherboard is on the options.

I think the right one is this:
        https://www.bpctech.com.au/product/tuf-b650m-e-wifi-asus-tuf…

        Thanks

        • I see they add the Plus version, let me talk them now and should add soon :)

  • Hi @BPC Technology, would it be possible to also add this https://www.bpctech.com.au/product/o11dex-lian-li-o11-dynami… as one of the case options? The white version is already there but most of the components I'll be using from you guys will be black and will fit this one better.

    • Added :)

    • +1

You can just add the PC to your cart and progress to the checkout to find out, you just need to enter an address on the first page of the checkout for the shipping cost to be calculated.

The exact shipping cost will obviously vary based on your exact address but the cheapest shipping option to WA seems to be around $100 via StarTrack.

  • @BPC Rep

Is the bonus peripheral promotion back online yet?

    • Today is the day :)

  • @BPC Technology any chance you can do something similar spec to the tech fast deal posted earlier, only 5 units (then another 5) on hand, completely missed out and I really wanted that spec

    • +1

Lol, yeah dude, they are. It's this build. It has literally the same exact performance you'd get from TechFast's i9-13700KF/RTX 4080 build for pretty much the same price, the only tangible differences being the 7800X3D CPU and the fact that BPC actually have stock unlike TechFast. Plus BPC give you way more upgrade options to choose from than TechFast.

      • +1

I was after the i9 for productivity over the 7800. But okay downvote me I don't care about fake internet points. Oh and the bpc was a 13900, not a 13700 😂

        • Will have a 14700k PC release next week :) similar performance to 13900

          • @BPC Technology: If it's similar to the 13900 I'd be happy, not interested in the latest CPUs as I am quite happy with last year's tech. But I'll check out the benchmarks thanks so much!

        • But okay downvote me I don't care about fake internet points. Oh and the bpc was a 13900, not a 13700 😂

I didn't downvote you. Have a +1. See? Couldn't do that if I downvoted you first.

It's OzBargain, you get downvoted for asking questions and having an opinion. It's just how it is.

I was after the i9 for productivity over the 7800.

Yeah but how often will you be running "productivity" workloads on it and is that slight 10% performance increase in niche use cases worth it over the other clear benefits of the 7800X3D, e.g. better gaming performance all-round, lower TDP, lower temps, the AM5 socket that's going to be around for at least another 3-5 years which the next generation of AMD CPUs will use (if not two future generations), so you have an upgrade path that will see you through well past the longevity of the i9-13700KF which is a dead end in terms of upgradeability as the LGA 1700 socket is retired now.

          • @Miami Mall Alien:

Yeah but how often will you be running "productivity" workloads on it and is that slight 10% performance increase in niche use cases worth it over the other clear benefits of the 7800X3D

To be honest I am quite torn over either CPUs. Today I just learned of how you can create your own ai models, and those use more cores to function. I was considering the 7800 obviously for gaming performance it smokes the Intel.. But for paid work (which is what I want to do eventually) I can't overlook more cores.

  • Where do I find the Alan wake 2 code? Promo was still running when I purchased. Wish it was starfield but oh well.

  • Hi, I'm looking for more than 4 SATA ports, afaik most of the motherboard options are limited to 4 ports. I know PCIe SATA cards a thing but I'm not sure if the graphics card blocks the other PCIe slots or if you can get PCIe SATA cards for PCIe 4.0 x1 slots. Hope you can advise me in this, thanks.

  • Hi J4ckal,

The PNY 4080 and MSI Ventus 4080 won't block the other slot.

Currently, we don't have any PCIe Sata cards on hand.

    Sincerely,
    BPC Team

  • Hi BPC. Love the deal, pretty close to pulling the trigger.
Possbile to add in these upgrade options?
    - Case: Fractal North black, glass
    - Cooler: DeepCool LT520 240mm ARGB AIO (black)
    - GPU - GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4080 16GB EAGLE OC (though I'd go with the TUF if the price were <$200 upgrade from the PNY)

    • Hi mate,

Let me talk to the TEAM :)

      Will update u soon.

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

  • The psu in mine has a really high pitched quiet coil wine, I’m guessing there’s nothing I can do about that, I hear it’s common these days? Hopefully my brain filters it out eventually

    • Hi PD,

Would u mind taking a video and sent to our warranty team?

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

      • Is there a direct email? I filled out the contact form but no reply yet

  • Avast antivirus blocks this site - says it has a card stealer…

    • Yeah =.= our software team is still working on it, the company reply really slow.

  • What’s the difference between choosing Mobo options and Mobo upgrade? Which one should I select if I want a motherboard upgrade?

    • Nothing, both of those drop-down lists have higher-spec mobo options to choose from, it's just the HTML on that page has been a bit broken for a while now so instead of having all of the mobo upgrade options in one list they're spread across two. I think it's also probably because BPC is constantly changing both the base system specs and the available upgrade options based on stock availability, so the page is a bit of a mess and keeps getting revised constantly.

  • hi any chance you could add nzxt cooling options & other 2tb nvm ssd options? thanks!

    • Sure will let team know!

      • thanks! waiting for the changes before i plce my order ~

  • Hi BPC Technology,

Do you still have the gigabyte b650m ds3h for this build? Can you add it in the options please

As mentioned in the edited post Motherboard>>MSI PRO B650M-P AM5 mATX Desktop Motherboard(ETA 21 NOV, currently using gigabyte b650m ds3h).

Would rather have the gigabyte b650m ds3h than the MSI if possible

also if you can add these ones:

Gigabyte B650M DS3H Micro ATX Form Motherboard and Gigabyte B650M DS3H Micro ATX Form Motherboard

    please and thank you :)

    • +1

NP! Will ask the team to add a swap option!

  • Any chance we could get the GA-B650-GAMING-X-AX back as an option or something similar?

    • Let me ask the team!

  • Hi BPC Technology,
Is the cooler deep cool lt520 black?
Just wandering cause all others parts are black.

    • Yes, black model :)

  • Thanks for the sweet deal and prompt delivery times.

Was wondering if the GPU will sag?

I am using the ASUS TUF version of the MB.

    • Hi there,

Generally for 4070ti and above we all recommend set-up with gpu holder, like 5-10 bucks on Amazon.

For the PNY OR MSI Ventus should be okay, as they are relatively small compared to other big models.

      Sincerely,
      BPC Team

      • Doesnt the PNY card come with a motherboard mount GPU Bracket. Basically the Lian Li GB-001. Will this not be installed with the prebuilds?

        • The card does come with the bracket, generally, our Tech will install it if the motherboard allows :)

  • @BPC Technology, i am curious best way to reach support? I raised an email around order being incorrect parts any happy to compromise on refund difference but it's been over 8 days.

Is there a quicker way to get it looked at / responded to?

    • Hi There,

Would you mind PM what happened with your order details :)

      Sincerely,
      BPC Team

      • Thanks for reaching out. I have sent this to you as a DM

      • @BPC Technology - Sent a DM, but still no response :(

        • Hi there,

Let me talk to the team and I will make sure they respond to you on Monday!

          Apologies for the wait!

          Sincerely,
          BPC Team
