Yep, the perfect laptop for browsing the web
Is enough for solitaire?
solid 10 fps in minesweeper
@shabaka: … Which is realistically all you need for minesweeper, right?
@CrispyChrispy: to play it "realistically" one needs RTX lol
go for gold, get Aorus 17X

it's even more reasonably priced. and has a half decent screen!
That's like 1.2k more though
do ppl hook these up to monitors? as otherwise the 4080 is wasted on the screen resolution.
Yeah some people like it just for a stealthier setup and being able to take it with them on the go. I miss having a gaming laptop but the price is too much for me considering you could probably build something more powerful for half the price.
I bought Helios 300 with a 3070 and 11th Gen i7 for $850 2nd hand, in as new condition, absolute bargain. I was already great but couldnt help and pimped it up with fresh battery, 32GB 3200Mhz DDR4, 2TB 990 Pro, 2TB Evo 870 and its a beast. using it when at my partners house or travelling, love it. Shame its only 1080p though.
That is a bargain considering I just sold my 2060 with 11th Gen i7 recently for $550. I think 1080p at this size isn't too noticeable which is why a lot of laptops will still have it to keep the cost down. My 24 inch 1080p looks just as good maybe even better then my 32 inch 1440p monitor.
You can't even get an RTX 4080 on its own for half the price.
According to a few sources the 4080 laptop is similar to a 4070/4070ti desktop, with an AMD equivalent card you could probably get similar performance to the laptop for $1600.
Absolutely! https://www.reddit.com/r/Battletops/
It isn't necessary to do so but it obviously has its perks
For a $3k MSI, I bet this better be having a strong 'Hinge' ???
Ahh the deal for all those that said the 4050 wasn’t good enough.
