        Because that one is not upgradable, especially the memory. 8GB memory limited future usage.

          Hi, one of the standard configuration for this laptoptop with i5 processor comes with 8GB sholdered RAM but for i7 ones, 16GB is standrad.

        Pretty much the 8gb, my phone has more, but it works flawlessly, the battery is still good and the overall build quality is superb

    hmm tempted just because my msi 9th gen laptop with 1050ti doesnt have thunderbolt (for easy connect with dock).

      It's quoted as "at least" so you may get more. This laptop isn't super old and I'd say the 70% guesstimate is factoring in extremely heavy use and high number of battery charge cycles.

    I bought the exactly same one in June, from ebay. the price was $449, after a discount voucher, I paid $350. I upgraded the SSD to a 1TB one. it's been working well for me, very happy with it.

    Methinks better value is found in the Elitebook 830 x360, which comes with user upgradable RAM. Those currently going for $379 in the link, 12 months warranty.

    I have used a number of these laptops G3 and G6 (i5 version) and they all broke at the hinge where the glass warped out of the metal housing. Couldn't upgrade RAM on the i5 version either.

      Agree I have bought X2 with the same issue. Bought for my daughter for school as I knew they would be a bit rough. These are very common faults, shame the OEM has not fixed it.
