  Picked these up for just under this price I think it was a pricing error, need to grab another one anyone know whether this or sensibo is a wiser choice?

    100% Sensibo is a better choice.
    Have both and would hands down buy another Sensibo but not likely a tado.
    Reliability, ease of use are all better on Sensibo!

      I have non-Homekit Sensibo. How can these be so much worse for essentially an IR blaster?

  If you don't need open window detection or the other fluff this unit has, you can buy an IR blaster Tuya smart gateway on Aliexpress for under $10 and control your AC via an app or Google/Alexa.

  Oops, bot didn't like my Aliexpress link because I'm on phone and it was probably some scammy embedded affiliate link the app gave me.
