      They may be legitimate but they definitely are uncontactable.

      I've been trying to get a hold of someone there for weeks… Phone hangs up automatically after 2 seconds and their web form is broken. Personally I can't trust any company that deliberately ignores their customers.

    Well I just paid via paypal, got payment declined returned at site but have been charged, no email.

    Time to chase support or cancel via paypal….

      This has happened to me in the past on Giftz.com.au. I checked my card after a few hours and the pending charge from PayPal disappeared (and I did not contact Giftz support nor PayPal support).

      • paypal is in status temporary auth so will just let it abandon.

        Did direct CC payment with no issue.

      Same thing happened to me on October 18th and it's still showing as 'pending' on my bank transaction list.

      Happened to me last week with the ebay gift card. 1/3 declined (the one i used another Visa giftcard to buy)
      They don't have it in their system at all and the Visa giftcard said i need to wait until the end of the week to see if the funds are back in automatically.
      Quite annoying

    • It seems to be good as a discount. There is currently a 5% off deal on Amazon too.

      If you see a Prezzee deal on one of their multi-retailer gift cards (e.g. Father’s Day Smart eGift Card, which equated to a 6.25% discount), the $150 gift could be partially/fully swapped for a Harris Farm eGift Card, but the bonus $10 gift card could not.

      • Six or eight weeks ago there was a swappable Prezzee gift card deal posted, and Prezzee sent out unswappable cards instead and ummed and aahed about doing anything about it when people complained. After 4 weeks of emailing them and them stalling for time, I gave up and asked for a refund.

        Lots of retailers sell gift cards, so no more Prezzee for me.

  • paid via paypal, got charged full amount instead of $90 (used the code and card shows $90)
    then cant proceed as getting the error "the text wasnt entered correctly
    no card, and im out $100

    Same issue, tried to pay via Paypal, it failed, but still charged my card and the web screen returns to the order page waiting for you choose the payment option and pay again. @AustinBlack Can we please give you the Paypal Transaction ID or Invoice ID to check that the order 100% wont be going through and amount charged will return back to the credit card? so we can attempt another payment method? Or not possible?

        What if the order did not process though? the payment fails in Paypal, charges your card then returns back to the main website screen for you to choose another payment method and continue with the order?

        I can understand there can be a lag if the order processed however if its returning back to the payment screen after charging your card and the gift cards are still in your cart.. then surely the order isn't going to process? Can i DM you the paypal invoice and transaction ID so you can check on your end? Thanks

    @HamBoi69 Can you please mention in the description that payments made via PayPal don't work. Would save people a lot of hassle. Currently going through one :(

    • They certainly do work we have many many PayPal transactions working, there just seems to be a bit of a lag. If you're still having issues please message me direct.

  • Unobtainable for me. Tried 4 different bank cards from two different people, same error: Transaction failed contact your bank or try another card.

    • Edit: All cards were charged, with no order/receipt#, gift card or notification whatsoever.

    Used paypal and said it failed, sometimes this happens with my email that is different to paypal, so used a different email.
    Tried again with paypal and new email and said it failed, but then bank notification shows my card was charged.

    Guess I have to wait to know it it'll go through or just refunded back to me?

    I placed two orders , one using APPLE PAY and another using credit card. Both payment was declined, but both cards were actually charged. How do I recover my money.

    Placed order for an Ubereats gift card, tried to check out using a Visa card, got a message saying that card declined, but my card got charged anyway. There was no order number or any confirmation that the order was processed at all.

    Tried to use the "contact us" form, but the form gets stuck when trying to submit.

    Not worth the hassle.

  • there is something distinctly wrong with this website.
    its confusing to me why they have deals and promotions like this when they cant get the site to work properly.

    I regularly am blocked from making purchases due to a "hitting daily limit" and this is in some cases warranted.

    Monday i hit my limit (and no i did not take advantage of any promotional offers)
    Tuesday still flagged as hitting my daily limit
    Wednesday still flagged as hitting my limit.
    Thursday, i was billed on my card, but flagged on giftz as declined please use another card
    Friday, i was again billed by my card, but again flagged as declined in giftz

    this daily limit garbage is not new, its been going on forever. this card issue is new, and it has nothing to do with the bank, its all on giftz.com.au side.

    i see there are two staff, would they like to weigh in on whats actually happening and how to resolve it so that we can actually use them normally?

    and no, before anyone asks, im not a new user and have been using them for a whole year in November and have made many large purchases. there is nothing out with my transaction history that would flag a security concern.

  • Its been 6 days and I am still out of pocket. Send a enquiry via the website and even though the site mentions that I should get a reply within 1-2 business days haven't heard back from them for the last 5 days. This is absolute rubbish. If you can't sort it out at least communicate with the customer and let them know what is going on.

    • Update: Finally the amount got reversed after 7 days. Still no communication from the customer support team on the complaint that I send through via their web form. Thank goodness my order wasn't for a large amount.
