    No PayPal?

  • Im sure its been mentioned prior but I cant see it. Why isn't ZIP an option on these sales? you would snag a few more purchases forsure.

    • +4

zip has a vitual card feature which allows you to purchase any product online as long as the site accepts visa or mastercard.

      • interesting, whats the interest free period on that though? If 6 months then thats a good enough work around

        • <1000, 0% interest ,10/m account fee
<5000, 0% interest, 10/m account fee +1 off account creation fee.

          There are minimum repayment obligations.

        • as what @NoIF said. Man monthly account fee used to be $7.95 only a couple years ago :(

for a purchase around 1k expect the minimum to be $80-$100ish a month.

        • Under 1k use zip pay via virtual cc, no interest, only monthly fee.
Over 1k you have to use zip money, 3 months interest free on all purchases, some stores have individual agreements where you get more interest free time, account fee always applies regardless.

Are you going to release any RTX 3060/TI/3070 deals for October? 🙏🙏🙏

    This deal or this deal?

    Decisions….

    • +3

Better performance out of this deal

      • How much more you reckon?

        • +5

This comparison video shows a decent performance advantage for the 6700XT over the 7600. Plus the faster CPU on this deal.

          • @jsediv: Tricky as you might get random brands of mobo/memory/graphix etc with this deal. I don't know whether that makes a difference though.

            • +3

@Naigrabzo: If it were me, I'd go for this deal and upgrade to the gold PSU ($59) then upgrade the CPU fan myself to a tower fan ($30-$50)

The motherboard is pretty basic but should be good enough unless you want to upgrade parts in the future. GPU brand doesn't really matter. They all run pretty much the same performance (minus OC etc) and it comes down to visual aesthetics and cooling.

If quality components are something you want, i'd recommend just building your own PC

    • +1

I prefer faster 5600 and faster 6700xt with 12 Gb VRAM if the rest of the parts is similar quality. GPU benchmark https://www.techpowerup.com/review/amd-radeon-rx-7600/31.htm…

    750W Power Supply
    650W 80 Plus Bronze Power Supply ($39.00)
    750W 80 Plus Gold Power Supply ($59.00)

Spend the extra $59 to prevent your house from blowing up

    • Love me the corsair RMX power supplies.

    $888 Asian exclusive deal!

I think the number 8 is only significant for Chinese.

8 is the luckiest number in Chinese culture because his pronunciation “Ba” sounds similar to the word “fa”, which means to make fortune.

Build specs link on the Techfast site not working on this PC?

  • Is it any good for processing photography on Photoshop and Lightroom? Tx

    • +1

Iiterally any new build that get posted here be fine for that assuming no rendering or video work.

    • +1

personally ive found Nvidia's Cuda cores better for lightroom, and something with RTX cores also useful if you're doing any AI work like denoise etc

  • Can i play COD Mw2 on ultra specs wid dis?

  • Wow, this is a great price. Built a worse spec PC for slightly more then this a month ago.

  • +1

Recommend upgrading the motherboard, otherwise these are great value.

Can the next code be 7900X-RTX4090-NOV for $888?

    • Are you familiar with the ozzie classic "The Castle"?
      If so, I rest my case… ;-)

      • Tell him hes dreaming!!

  • How would this spec go for Fortnite ? I’ve been playing on a 10th gen intel laptop 16gb ram but of course onboard graphics and it’s been shocking. Really need to bite the bullet (no pun intended :P) and get some type of gaming PC. But should I be going for an AMD or Intel for this purpose - or is it literally the GPU that matters?

    • It'll run fortnite great. And yes, gpu does the heavy lifting in almost all instances of gaming.

As for the amd Intel debate, it really doesn't matter. If you are pedantic about it, check gaming benchmark videos that compare frames per second with cpu differences in mind for specific games.

    • Depends what resolution, graphic settings and resolution you’re looking for. Fortnite 4K max settings is very demanding. My 5600+6800 gaming PC (slightly faster than this) can play 1440p native, around medium settings around 120-165 fps.

  • Either of the boards have 2x nvme slots or no?

  • Is this good enough to do the coding? Using Visual Studio 2022, SQL Server and similar things? If not, what spec might be good enough?

    • This is way overkill for that. If you aren't gaming or doing graphical work, get something cheaper.

      • Can you point me to some direction or spec, which I can use as base or may be buy? Thanks.

Seems overkill but this is cheaper than what I was trying to build. Below is spec of my work Laptop and it is alright.

        11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1185G7 @ 3.00GHz 3.00 GHz
        32.0 GB RAM
        NVidia T500
        1 TB SSD

        • Really anything recent enough to not have software compatibility issues is fine for coding tasks. I use computers from 2013 at work for similar tasks with no issues.

    • +1

Consider whether you really need this expensive GPU for coding?

  • Why does it say 1088 online?? How can i get the deal?

    • Coupon code yo.

  • Any coil whine on this config?

  • if you pick linux os can u install windows os?

    • +1

Yes. Boot with windoze USB start up disc (look up how to make this yourself) and pick format drive and go from there.

  • Is there any way to get wifi that isnt “usb adaptor”. Is there an m.2 slot for wifi free on the motherboard? Or literally any way to connect a wifi card.
Seems a touch frustrating that every motherboard used basically covers the other PCIe slot.

  • Would this be ok for VR? My old PC can just barely run stuff at the low end.

  • Solid deal for a budget gaming system.

    I'm still running a Techfast 5700xt rig from 2019. Can't believe it's been 4 years.

Was thinking of upgrading some parts, but the current system still runs everything I need.

At these prices, I may as well wait a bit longer, and replace the lot with another Techfast build when needed.

  • Anyone knows what's the motherboard for this one? I'm looking for a good deal on either a Mini-ITX or a mATX, and if this is mATX, I could maybe change only the case for a sub-15L…

  • Are the specs fine the way they are or should I upgrade some parts? Thanks

  • I'm unfamiliar with typical Techfast builds, do they typically leave a slot free (and enough surrounding space) for a PCI-E wireless card?

    • +1

Website says the GPU will block the PCIE slot so would have to use usb for wifi

  • How come afterpay isn't available for this PC but for the others it is?

  • Just bought this build as a budget upgrade and I'm extremely impressed with the price and production Techfast have done with this.
Decent entry level gaming pc. Will be buying from you guys again in the future.

  • Does it have a gigabit Ethernet port?
