Was hunting for one and then this price dropped yesterday from $234.5 to $201.
The luggage is light weight compared to others in same segment.

Anyone have any thoughts on a good carry on hardshell case? I need a new check in and carry on hardshell but not sure where to start, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for the deal! reading in to it, it appears the 82cm is considered oversized baggage for some airlines (and the shinkansen in Japan) which if unlucky can incur an oversize fee (that is rare though, they tend to worry about weight more)
I ended up popping into the Chadstone store and picked up the 69cm size which according to the website was not available anywhere in Vic, but I found 1 last piece sitting there. Whilst smaller in height than my old 75cm one from 12 years ago, it weighs 1kg less and actually has 84L of space instead of 82L due to the expander!
the 69cm was advertised at $189 but to my surprise it scanned as $113!?? absolute steal and the cheapest i've EVER seen these. I did test it out with the 82cm and it still scanned as $201, but if anyone sees the 69cm see if it works for you too because it's an insane price. Not sure if it was a mistake (it did 40% off then an additional 40%) and they fixed it before I came back to check the larger one but worth trying.
