Was looking at a hydration vest and came across some old stock at the Katmandu outlet store. I was about to buy the newer model which is pretty much the same bag with some minor improvements. If you don't mind the colourway, it's worth calling in to see if they have any left.

The Kathmandu Spencer St and they had plenty.

Looks like pockets are more open as opposed to velcro. I would say to be more inline with salomon vest.

  Don’t know much about this one but recently got the Salamon which seemed like a good deal. Have really found it good since using it a few times

    keep in mind the active skin 8 doesn't have extra loops to hold your z-poles nor is it compatible with the quiver attachment
