Agreed ive been waiting since February as i missed the January deal. See below for my score lol.
I just bought this recently. Besides the blower this is standard price with everyone (total tools, sydney tools etc). Been on the lookout was waiting for Januarys deal ($629 with blower) but i got the next best thing.
So bunnings made the msitake of increasing their price to $849 on their website so i went straight to bunnings and beat the standard $749 price that everyone else has and paid $674 and i redeemed the blower and got that within a week.
Btw i came from petrol and this thing is great. How often do you mow? and what kind of run times do you get? thanks.
I'm interested in this mower. Looking for real life reviews. thanks.
Also I hear the safety red bar, is hard to hold down.
I have Ego 56v tools. I have Makita 18v tools.
Who wins in mowers?
I've been wanting an electric for a while now.
Ego. Their mowers and garden gear is top notch.
The way I was leaning.
I'll stick to workshop tools in my Makita stuff.
I own most of Ego 56v garden power tools except mower. The reason is it’s too heavy as I need to bring it up and down between my back and front yard, what a pity.
I’m relying on my ryobi electric mower because it’s light weight but man I want something more powerful than 18v. Very tempting to upgrade to 36v makita or Ryobi.
i'm thinking of buying ego 42cm mower to replace my ozito, seems weight is 25kg without battery so should be able to lift a few stairs?
I have Kobalt 80v (53cm) lawn mower, which is 32kg but I don't feel it so heavy at all.
Ego is the better mower but this Makita is extremely capable (I've been using it for the last year). One of the reasons I got it is to share batteries with my mostly-Makita tools - which is a pretty big value add given the cost of batteries these days.
58v Masport.
fantastic deal. i already have the makita tools, and needed to get some more batteries. now i also add a mower and blower and dual rapid charger. win win.
If you have this blower, this adapter makes it so much better for blowing paths and decks. It puts the nozzle closer to the ground and compresses the air in to a narrow flat opening giving it way more power. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/393252555761
Agree, had them for my blower as well.
Much cheaper to buy them from a tool shop though.
Flat nozzle adaptor. $9.60 https://sydneytools.com.au/product/makita-191l135-flat-nozzl…
Flat nozzle. $10.40 https://sydneytools.com.au/product/makita-197889-6-sweeper-n…Yeah that's better, I purchased them for around $25 from that Ebay seller but they have jacked the price. So Sydneytools is a much better price.
Would this fit the Ozito brushless jet blower? I can't check on the Bunnings website ATM if they have an Ozito one
No, they are a specific fit for the Makita blower.
So if I have a 60 sqm front lawn and nature strip would this be sufficient in cutting that? I just worry that they won't cut the mustard be a waste
Yeah I just bought one it'll be fine.
FYI I bought this having never mowed lawns before and it does my very small front yard and nature strip in a breeze. About 50m2.
Hum was alot cheaper in the past, purchased for $629 during the previous sale. It also had the redemption promo. Dont really think $749 is a deal. Though side note, the mower is amazing
