Hahaha you beat me to it. Great software indeed. A bit resource intensive if you have an older computer but a very powerful too. The tone cloud our whatever it's called, makes gives it even more options
Thanks OP!
Wow great deal - I use this for home practice. Well worth it for any guitarist.
Brilliant, code worked perfectly and was even applied automatically. Looking forward to having a play with this!
The email says "1. Create a Positive Grid account if you don't have one yet. Remember to use the same email address as the one you placed this order."
When I try to join it says…
Received an error response (422 Unprocessable Entity) from Shopify:{ "email": [ "has already been taken"Worked for me though.
Thanks it's working now.
Any recommendations for guitar interfaces?
I just grabbed this AXE I/O from Amazon UK, ~$513 - camels reckons it’s an OK price, local is much more expensive.
A bit expensive for me. Positive Grid have their own interface for $150 -200, but even that is a bit pricy for me atm
If you're not doing any professional work they are all very similar. I use a Focusrite Scarlett, and I bet you can find a heap on the used market for cheap.
Just get a cheap Focusrite solo or something off marketplace
Audient iD14 is a really good step up from the Scarlett 2i2 tier, before getting into the really expensive stuff. Recently downgraded my UAD Apollo to an Audient, using it on Mac and PC, couldn’t be more satisfied.
Nice one. I have one of their Spark amps which is a whole lot of fun… I can still barely play guitar though.
Wow huge. What a deal!
As the owner of a Spark40, are there any advantages to using this as an interface if just playing? I assume the Tone Cloud can get similar results?
Or is it only good for when you want to record?
Grabbed it anyway to test out …because, free.
reamping? or if you want to use your monitors?
Apparently you can use the Spark 40 amp as the guitar interface, anyone tried this with their amp?

yes i'tried.
Any issues with delay? Work ok?
a bit of noise from memory. delay ( I don't remember)
@ilove: Do you have the power supply with an earth pin? The 2 pin plug can cause noise.
@Gravy: 2 pin only.
@ilove: Contact positive grid and mention the noise and they may send you out a free replacement 3 pin.

is the site slow/????
Got it!
Thanks.Nice find!!
bit of a noob question but if I already have a spark40, is there any advantage to running this software? Is the main feature recording?
More amps and effects.
Is this like a multieffects pedal but for a computer?
Yes, correct. Effects and amps which you can use as a standalone software on your computer (you'll need an audio interface that connects between the computer and your guitar) OR can be used as a plugin with your preferred DAW (Ableton, Pro Tools, Logic Pro etc)
Nice! Grabbed it. Was actually just looking at it the other day. Planets have aligned
Another day, another world class amp sim that confirms to me that tone is indeed in the hands (and not this particular set of hands)
Now thats good value. Thanks OP!
Epic, thanks OP!
Thanks OP!!
Seems to be a few versions, is it the standard one that is free?
Yes
Thanks, I think i was too late, it says expired on this thread.
Yeah it was free for one day only
I literally just saw the email as well and was going to post, nice work & good deal been wanting to try this software for some time.
