Hi OzBargainers! This will be our biggest sale yet.
We need to make room for new stock.
You can see all the sale items HERE
Here are a few interesting filaments & resins from FormFutura.
+ EasyWood now only $9.66/500g (80% off!). Extremely high wood-filling of 40%. Looks, feels and smells like real wood. Recommend using hardened nozzle and above 0.4 mm. Requires drying @~50 C to reduce stringing. The wood particles absorb moisture.
+ CarbonFil now $20.00/500g (60% off). Carbonfil sets itself apart from cheaper CF filled PET-G because it uses long strand carbon fibers. These actually improve strength and stiffness, as opposed to being purely cosmetic.
+ EasyFil HIPS now $21.40/750g (50% off !). High Impact PolyStyrene. High heat, impact and chemical resistance. Engineered to meet UL 94HB flame retardancy standards. Smooth matte surface finish!
+ rPLA $24.65/1kg (15% off), rPET $24.85/1kg (30% off): Sustainable PLA and PETG. Made completely from renewable materials.
+ Volcano PLA $33.00/750g (40% off): Industrial-grade PLA for high-flow printing with ABS-like heat resistance (up to 170c hdt) and mechanical properties after annealing.
+ ABS Pro $28.00/500g (30% off): High strength ABS, reinforced with Styrene Maleic Anhydride (SMA) and PolyCarbonate (PC). Suitable for printing mechanical parts with high precision and fine detail and has exceptional endurance properties. Enclosed printer recommended.
For those printing with high performance materials we even have Ultem on sale HERE - rApollo (ASA-based), PEI Ultem 1010, PEI Ultem 9085

    That's for 500g so is $20/kg + delivery

  • $61 for 2kg of wood filament, delivered.

…Is that good? Certainly pricier than PLA, but I dunno what the premium usually is.

To give you an idea, it's ~$98 per 500g on amazon.
This material is imported from the Netherlands.
Orders over $150, shipping is free.

  • New to 3d printers (got one last week). Just put an order for few different ones to try out.

Let us know if you have any issues. We'll be happy to help. Biggest tip is to dry the easy wood filament before printing.
If you don't have a filament drier or dehumidifier, you can poke a bunch of holes in the carboard box it comes with and dry the spool using the printers heated bed @ ~60c.

      • Thanks for the tip, so just leave it there a cpl of hours I assume. Got hold of a cheap dual drier from Amazon last week. Bit addictive haha. Should’ve ordered more different ones to not have aus postage $. Oh well. Next time.

      • Do you take the filament out of the vacuum sealed plastic or keep it in?

  • Superb prices!
I’d be all over this in a heartbeat if I still had my 3d pri tinting shop

  • Just put my order through. Hope the quality is good. Cheers!

  • The $20 shipping was a bit ouch, but I got 5 of the wood ones to try my 3d printer finally. 🙂

    • @Slippery Fish still waiting? Also paid $20 for shipping. North perth. They are lots of fun. Just printed a headphone stand. Also an Elsa figurine to our 3 year old. She loved it lol.

      • I was waiting for a deal that seemed trouble free to turn up 🤣 once bit twice shy.

Any advice on settings etc? Gona be using a ender 3 V2 neo

        • Haven’t gotten this new filler. The other filament (PLA silk from other provider I got 195 on nozzle and 65 on bed. Make sure to adjust the bed. Had issue at first and had to adjust it closer to bed. It was “curling” up and not sticking to bed. Used the bed glue as well. When adjusting down a bit (0.1 mm) much better. Writing down setting on different filaments and brands. Also speed need to be adjusted. Too quick doesn’t extrude properly on cheaper filaments. Make some small prints to start with. Next step is to learn the support for easy removal. Trial and error. Fun though. I set up a camera at printer so I don’t need to check it so often :). Got mine in garage. Not smelly filament but noisy fans in mine. Elegoo Neptune 4.

        • Tip. After a week of printing. Isopropyl alcohol help so much on bed to get it to stick easier (initially was fine, then starting to “warp” and losing from bed). Had some issues a while. Using glue sticks and so on. Since using iso Works fine again. Sorry for late post :)
