    Imo get a dedicated baby monitor.

    I personally didn’t like the idea of a remote controlled motorised cam inside the house. Maybe that’s just my own paranoia

    I’m not using this one I’m using an Imou Ranger. It’s fine for when we're awake and we haven’t really needed a dedicated baby monitor yet.

    One problem I can think of is if you’re asleep and you just get a notification to your phone instead of the sound coming straight through as it would on a dedicated baby monitor.

  That's the Australia tax at work. Currently in Singapore, where the C300 is selling for $39SGD (about $45AUD) and the C400 is $49SGD (about $56AUD)
