  • Old model, imo not competitive in today's market.

    • What would you recommend at this price?

      • +1

Assuming I was buying right now it would be Dreame D10 Plus - $650

        https://dreame.com.au/pages/cba-staff

Honestly anything above this price isn't worth it unless the mop pad rises (ie roborock s7+/s8).

        • @Jofzar : what do you think about ECOVACS Deebot N8 Robot Vacuum for $419 ($999 - $580 coupon)?

          • @bluespider: I would recommend buying the Aldi version for 399$ first before that but my experience from reading online is that the ecovacs software/mapping is pretty rubbish

            https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/798848

            • @Jofzar: haha, thats my post about Aldi's Neo.
I need one more now for family member but its OOS everywhere near me so looking for alternative in similar price range.

  • I bought this a while back and mopping attachment broke just after 1 year of use.
The design of the mopping attachment is faulty in my opinion and puts uneven pressure on sliding rails and connected fittings.
Ended up buying the attachment as it was a waste of money to throw a ~$1000 machine away…
The warranty period is not reasonable considering the price.

  • Just get the roborock s8 from eBay for $849 it doesn't have a bin dock but is a superior machine to this.

    • Link?

    • +1

The bin dock makes a pretty big difference though, in the very least as a placebo effect

      • I mean it saves you a couple more bin trips but really you buy the robot vacuum to do a good job vacuuming.. it's already taking the convenience part of vacuuming away. To empty a bin after each trip should be easy enough

    • +1

So cost more and you have to empty it manually?

I wouldn't buy a a robot vacuum without auto emptying.

      • Me either, I've had Roborock and Deebot 920 both without auto empty station. Now had this Deebot T9+ for about a year and its awesome.

I wouldn't buy one without an auto empty station either.

      • That's entirely fair. But the roborock is a better vacuum in general , you can buy an official dock but the price goes up a fair bit

  • These are decent, don't think there is anything else at this price with local warranty, good brand and feature set.

My only issue has been the drop sensor getting confused in some lighting conditions with my dark floorboards.
