I have the same set up, my main use tools are dewalt, ozito covers the gardening stuff I need for the nature strips.
Also agree with your experience re batteries, ozito does have a parasitic drain
Wish they'd just sell the battery at this price without the charger. How many people buying extra batteries need the extra charger, it's just ewaste for most. The 2ah is great for smaller tools you want to be light and nimble like drills, drivers and glue guns. Tempted to grab a second one to go with the three 4ah ones just so I don't have to swap between the drill and driver when doing jobs.
Agree - I have a couple of 1.5Ah that I got somewhere, which are excellent for the drill. Light and compact
I live in the ACT and actually need another charger, so if someone has one lying around that they want to donate to me, please let me know. If not, I’ll pull the trigger and buy this for the charger.
By the same token you could send me the battery and keep the charger 😉🤣
I’m not that nice. You’ll have to come pick it up. 😂
@ericb: Pretty far from qld 😂
The 2ah makes the whipper snipper a dream to use, good balance and weighs almost nothing.

Don't feel too bad. It takes far more resources to make the battery than the charger. The latter is $2 in parts.
Have to agree. Adding a charger that few people need is un-green. Very colesworthy I suppose, given their appalling green creds.
If the Batt was $15. I'd get one for light tools.
inflation, i think this was $19 last year
Good price but have way too many Ozito chargers already, and I normally use DeWalt… It's hard to go past Ozito for less used tools or garden stuff.
2Ah battery is perfect for drills, impact drivers, hedge trimmers but won't last long on grinders, leaf blowers etc.
Also - don't leave the battery in the tool, I've found they still tend to drain whereas DeWalt won't.
