    Best eco diver cw ever.

Not doing it for me. I prfer the black one in you second link.

Though my main gripe is that tilted date display. It will trigger my ocd just looking at it.

a lot of watches have date at 4 o'clock

      • +1

        I know. But why?

I mean when did it become a thing?

        • Always been a thing. See @garage sale's comment

      • +2

yeah, allows bigger lume at the 3'oclock position … when under water you usually don't check date and these aren't targetted at desk divers , the rubber straps kills shirt cuffs …

        • allows bigger lume at the 3'oclock position

          Today i learnt.

          • @xoom: Agree that 4 o'clock if fairly common yet still tasteful.
I've seen much worse on a lot of watches.
6 o'clock is the best for symmetry or no date, but at least with solar you won't have to set it often.

Colourway is personal, this one is a bit out there, but unique and cool (not sure if limited ed but great price). i wouldn't wear it much personally (but have the unite with blue and dig that).

I concur about the black/gold one, it is 1000x better IRL than the pictures.

I like them both though, and the blue one is just so…happy. So I'll probably end up with the complete set.

      • Same here. Got the LE one for $450, just have to wait for the black one to get cheaper

        • $397 is pretty good, it would look great on you..
I just don't wear gold in general but love the combo.

          • @G-rig: Too many watches. I'm seriously thinking about dropping 2k on an Astron

            • @rosebank: That looks interesting just having a look. Not sure about them, they don't look a 2k watch (type of thing)..
              Lumibright is cool

It's a fun obsession although it would be good to do a cull one day and just get 5 really good ones.
Some kind of high precision quartz be nice (paper dial or similar), and omega or tudor :P
As long as you try and wear a lot of them.

I like the watch face , should have been steel bracelet

    • +1

Nah, the colour of the strap makes it pop. Gold bracelet will be too much gold

    Yo this is beautiful

    • drip +100

    Very nice colourway..
    A serious consideration

Surprising coming from you. I got the notification and fully expected you to rip on my weird taste

      • +1

Hahaha turquoise is one of my all time fav colours. I just don't like rubber bands

        • +1

Mine is seafoam green. Turquoise are close enough

        • +1

and those citizen bands are a very hard rubber, feels like plastic not as soft/comfortable like the seiko ones.. although they wouldn't attract as much dust.

Are Eco drivers just solar quartz movements made by Citizen?

    • Eco-Drive, but yes.

  • Not my style of watch, but I'm really liking that colour combo!

    • That colour scheme is repulsive , citizen didn't think this out .

      • I'd just say it's different or out there

      • As is so often the case, the renders don't do the colours justice. In person, the blue dial on this one is excellent.

Or, if you like, almost a Ukrainian flag on your wrist.

        • Yep, Fujifilm inks on the unite with blue limited edition ;)

  • Starbuy returns serve, $385 if you can't get the signup offer from WD.

    Same for the back/gold variant.
