A bit on the pricy side, but these are quality tampers.

Same, but preferably 2.
Valued at $54?
Must be platinum.
Diamond tamper with platinum jugg, feeling good man
$120 for a plastic handled tamper!?! I know there are wooden/metal ones there too, but damn that's a quite a price for a plastic one.
Actually no plastic parts, all metal, some has timber handles.
POM Handle - Polyoxymethylene. An engineering thermoplastic used in precision parts requiring high stiffness, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability.
Please don't mock the gullible. $120 to feel like a sophisticated man of taste and culture, is a bargain.
But think of the suffering baristas -
With an average weight of 0.6kg, this tamper packs a punch, allowing baristas to work smarter and strain less.
On first look at the image … for a moment there I wasn't sure if these kind of discounted items were usually posted on OZB …
GIANT BUTTPLUGS.
Do baristas rock up to work with their own tampers and jugs?
some even bring 2 jugs ;)
is it a luxury brand? Otherwise QUALITY should not cost $120.
Aware that coffee is not the cheapest hobby out there, but $100 for a basic-looking tamper is just taking the piss.
But hey, at least you can also use it as a paperweight /s
Yes, these are pricey, but they do feel lovely to use.
I bought as a gift for my partner and hated spending that much, but when I use it I can see and feel the difference between it and the cheaper tampers. It does feel 'luxurious',
(When I bought it came with a free jug and free doser).
Otherwise known as confirmation bias.
Naaa - I didn't think there would be a difference (except for the look of it). I wasn't expecting it to be different. But it is definitely smoother, heavier and fits the basket perfectly (so no grinds creeping up the side).
It's nice to use. Like writing with a weightier pen compared to a lightweight plastic pen. They both do the job, but one feels nicer.
How’s this compared to a Reg Barber?
How well do these fit their baskets? I have a normcore v4 that is slightly too small for a Breville basket and cakes a thin layer of coffee to the upper basket wall and edge of the tamper and makes a mess.
I have a lelit tamper for 65 if anyone is interested. Used a few times. Sitting on the shelf as paper weight.

Came here to read comments.
But felt like commenting - I bought my grinder cheaper than this on discount.
Can also be used as a butt-plug.
The dual purpose is probably why it's so expensive.
What? Are these military grade?
I love a free jug.
