Thanks. Wanted to try The Ordinary's new moisturiser.

    • +2

And one of the few stores that lets you get cashback on The Ordinary.

    • Which one is that?

      • Myer

  • Toys includes Lego?

  • +9

    No cap fr? Bussin

    • I am very sceptical about the possibility of a cap but there's nothing in the t&c

      • I was skeptical too but I’ve scoured it a dozen times and there is nothing mentioned.

    • +1

Shopback’s front page header for the offer specifically shows an “uncapped” badge

    • 💯 that's lit

  • -1

    Dior Sauvage available?

    • Read the terms and conditions

    • +1

      nope. See the exclusion list

Cashback not applicable for Products from brands such as: Hermes, Aesop, CHANEL & Dior

      • +1

        Doh!

  • -3

    No cap?
Does this mean if I negotiate or price match a deal on a ~$3000 TV, I'll get the Entertainment category 18.4% cashback (~$550) ?
Seems too good to be true, I'm sure I'm missing something…

    • How are you going to negotiate online to get the cashback…

    • +2

How would you negotiate an online C&C purchase? They don't even have many TVs online apart from 2 Hisense TVs that I can see.

    • Read the notes

  • +1

    include coffee machine?

    • Would love to know the answer to this as well

    • Took the plunge and ordered. Yet to receive cashback tracked confirmation

    • +1

Hard to know I think. If it's considered under General Appliances, Personal Care Appliances, Small Appliances, Heating and Cooling than it will be 22%. If it's considered under Entertainment (because t&C's sayd Entertainment & Electrical category includes electronics, audio & speakers, computers & laptops (including games and accessories), heating & cooling, household & kitchen appliances, phones & accessories, movies & music, personal & health care appliances) than it will be 18.4% - as long as you have chosen click & collect, not delivered.

      • I think your reasoning's right. Will give it a try and see how it goes.

        • +1

Can confirm my click & collect order has been tracked. Rate of 18.4% cashback on GST excl amount.

  • Does this mean its 18.4% cashback for an apple watch?

edit: nvm doesnt look like they stock apple…

  • Can @ShopbackAcc confirm?

    Buy random stuff cost $50 and received $15 cashback using Westpac and 22% through shopback? ($50/11 GST = $45*78% - $15 = $20.10) ??

    • +1

You still have to pay the GST.

      50 - ((50/1.1)*0.22) - 15 = 25

      • -1

        Ha missed that.

        Technically $20.11 + $4.54 = $24.65 That's a win!

  • +1

Just spent $289 on Lego… Here's hoping for >$60 cashback

(Tranquil Garden & Iron Golem Fortress)

    • I think Lego comes under toys which is only 3%?

      • 22% Click&Collect, 3rd from top

        • +1

Ahhh missed that. Brings the Tranquil Garden down to just over $100 with the 22% + $15. Pretty good deal

    • $57.79 tracking (after GST nonsense)!

  • How to check which westpac card is eligible?

    • +3
      1. Is card with westpac?
      2. Profit
      • +1

You forgot crucial step 2. It should be as follows:

        1. Is card with Westpac?
        2. ???
        3. Profit
  • I wonder if you actually have to pick it up today.

    • Nope, as long as its transacted today.

    • +1

No, you don't. Myer give you 21 days for click and collect orders. After that it will be filed as a return and you'll be refunded.

  • +1

Looking to buy a vacuum cleaner as my naughty dog chewed the charging cable 🥲

  • +8

There is another bonus to stack with this. $5 bonus with $50 spend for those that have enrolled in the Super Savers Perks program

Earn More > Ongoing > Super Saver Perks

    • can't find mine, may be I will reach out,ta

    • Great find! I usually check that section but the one time I didn't, I miss it. Luckily saw your comment in time :)

    • how do you enroll in this?
I havce Ozbargain Perks but for the life of me I cannot remember how I enrolled in that one, lol

      • You need to be part of the Shopback "Super Savers" FB group. Then, if you follow @brandogs instruction you'll then see a little Facebook logo button in that spot labelled "Super Saver Perks". Click that and the offer will be hidden there.

    • I wonder if this is targeted.
I can't find in the app.
I also had Ozbargain Perks but that has disappeared. I uninstalled and reinstalled app. No change.

      • +2

Not targeted, you just have to be part of the Shopback "Super Savers" FB group. T hen, ifyou follow @brandogs instruction you'll then see a little Facebook logo button in that spot labelled "Super Saver Perks". Click that and the offer will be hidden there.

        • Thanks so much. Joined and can see now 😃

    • I didnt even know this section existed. Ta for the headsup champ, have a blessed day 🙏

  • Does fashion and footwear mean any clothes?

    • +1

Yes, as long as the items aren't Hermes, Aesop, CHANEL & Dior

  • Do you guys think if the Homedics Therapist Select Plus Percussion Massager will fall into a 22% cashback category for click and collect? Thank you

    • It's hard to guess but I would consider that a Personal Care appliance so it should.

      • Thank you

        • Ordered one and the casback was only tracked at the 18.34% which doesn't fall into any categories.

Did I do the calculation wrong?

          Price $119 inc GST
So the amout to calculate cashback is $108.18.
I got an email to confirm the cashback tracked $19.84.

  • +1

    Thanks OP, good deal
some Legos are cheaper at Target with 20% on westpac lounge, (comes down to~ $15 bonus on offer@Myer)

  • +1

Just bought dyson hair dryer. Pretty good deal if 22% cash back no cap come through

  • Luggages included in Entertainment? 18.4%?

  • Do you get cash back if you ship to store and click and collect from there?

    • Some of the categories require click & collect to get the better rate.

  • This is cap

  • +2

Cheers OP. Got 2 polo shirts for $28 after stacking with &15 bonus and $5 bonus + 22% cashback for C&C.

  • +1

It seems anything less than $10 is in store only. I'm just a couple of dollars short of $50… Infuriating

    • Definitely the problem with Myer. My go to in that situation is a pair of undies or socks

  • +1

Thanks OP. Ordered a Dyson supersonic hairdryer. Should be about $385 C&C after all cashback deals. See if it tracks

    • Nice! I have seen someone in the FB group specifically ask about the Dyson and it was confirmed as Personal Care appliances by OP so you should be all good.

      • +2

Have I miscalculated something? $499 purchase. Removed the GST and applied the 22% shopback cashback.

Should be $99.79 but I got an email confirming $83.17? 🤔

Westpac $15 cashback came through though.

        • +1

Same here, got cashback tracked at $83.17.

          • +2

@tooniezz: I've submitted a wrong cashback enquiry. Pretty sure they shortchanged us. Will update once I hear back

        • Hey mate, I've had a look into this and looks like MYER actually categorise their Dyson products as part of the "Entertainment and Electronics" category, which is why this has tracked at 18.4%. I'm looking into getting this made clear in MYER's terms and rates on our website, so cheers for flagging.

          • +1

@gotyourback: my air fryer tracked at 18.4% as well

          • +1

            @gotyourback: Can I please still have 22% CB 🥹

          • +1

@gotyourback: It's a bit misleading considering MYER actually has the Dyson Supersonic listed under "Personal Care Appliances" in the breadcrumb navigation of their website.

@gotyourback Will you honour 22% for orders that have already been placed?

            • @Thrymr: Hey mate, in the MYER terms on our website, they state that "Entertainment & Electrical category includes electronics, audio & speakers, computers & laptops (including games and accessories), heating & cooling, household & kitchen appliances, phones & accessories, movies & music, personal & health care appliances".

I understand that it could be clearer so am working with MYER to ensure that this is made as clear as possible for future upsizes, so cheers for flagging mate.

        • I hope @gotyourback honours them

  • Does anyone know if pasta maker counts as entertainment or Home?

    • Mine took about 7 mins from order placed to email confirmation.

      • +1

Sorry I edited my post which made you look like you were answering orange to apple XD

Original question was whether the order confirmation from Myer was instant, as per OP my confirmation came in after only 5-10mins.

        • +1

Haha yes now I look a little silly, but thank you for clarifying what I was responding to. I think a pasta maker might be dependant on it being an electronic or manual one. Manual ones tend to come under Kitchen utensils not appliances. Very hard to know.

  • Anyone else constantly stuck on 'processing' when paying? Haven't been able to place an order for the last 30 minutes despite constant attempts via both desktop and phone, not sure why :(

    • +1

Was OK for me when I paid about 20 mins ago. Maybe use a different browser?

  • was gonna say there's (likely targeted) $10 cashback on $100 spend with commbank rewards also, but t&c's says ineligible

    • But if you use Commbank, you don't get the Westpac $15 bonus

      • true, but for those like me who aren't with Westpac

  • So this is the first time I've used ShopBack, installed the extension, and made my purchase following the links. Order was tracked by addon, but nothing on the website, If it doesn't track can i just cancel?

  • Myer C&C order cancelled. Dammit.

  • For the westpac bonus. Was the $50 on total amount or excluding gst.. i brought something for $50.85 and wondering if it will be honoured. Shopback is showing it in pending, but they usually reject things later

  • Dam… Myer cancelled one of my items, now become an invalid order

    • return everything then
