What is the difference between an Automotive hose, and a Garden hose?
One is to water your garden, the other to water your automotive.

Probably okay as long as you don't water your horses, altho 'automotive' involves horses so arguably you're okay there also.
Automotive hose is usually built stronger, but that means it's also thicker and heavier and less maneuverable.
No reason you can't use automotive hose for gardening, but don't try it the other way otherwise you might end up watering the highway
This one can be used to syphon petrol. Will pay for itself in no time.

The secret to a kink-free hose is to keep water pressure inside the hose while reeling it in. Then turn off the tap once reeled in.
