  Just watch this. I have these speakers and yes they are great for iPod but they have issues with the AUX cable and them automatically switching off as it doesn't recognise a device detected. Google it and you will find a lot of topics about it. Not sure if they fixed it with later releases or not.

  But apart from this, very good speakers.

    I have this dock, you have to turn the volume on other devices to a higher level.

    I have to replaced the first one back to OW because of the remote stopped working.

    So far so good now but remember I have only paid $74 after price matched logitechshop.

  Bear in mind that i'd expect to see a lot of these 'old' iphone docks coming on sale since the connector is changing with the new iphone.

  I have this - brilliant sound, incredible depth, but it does switch off on quiet moments, or if you listen to quieter music like classical or soundtracks, it does it all the time. It's such a shame. I tried all the fixes, turning up source volume etc etc but it seems like a built in fault. It's awesome quality sound for the price though (I think I got it $~80 from a logitech sale early last year).

  I have noticed, if you listen to audiobooks, it never switches off on those, thankfully. It must be the constant levels on audiobooks or something. So good for that too. It also travels well, portable and lasts on battery well. The remote is a bit unintuitive but you get used to it.

    If you plug it into a power source it should be better.

    i'm having the same problem. Even with the power it's same it's switch off after some time.

  I have none of the problems mentioned above. Although sometimes at night after being on idle for a few hours it starts playing a random song. We are starting to think we have a friendly ghost….cue scary music.

  I got this dock…. love it.
  Most used addon to my iPhone, other than the charger :).
