131

Saw this deal promoted on Facebook.
Very cheap for this cider, selling at $59.99 at Dan Murphys.
The deal is said to be "ONLY AVAILABLE FOR A SHORT TIME".

The $7.61 shipping is calculated to northern suburbs in Melbourne, may be higher or lower for other areas.

Shipping to Perth is $32 :(

    • Oh wow that's ridiculously high!
I changed the title to say just Melbourne for $7.61 shipping.

  • $31.32 shipping to Sydney.

  • $31.32 shipping to postcode 2000. Cheaper to get it from DM.

Edit: Beaten by 7 secs. :)

Yep probably only cheap deal if you live in Melbourne.

  • Only cheap for shipping in Melbourne… Jealous Adelaidian here!

  • I live in Melbourne, so I ordered a slab :)

I got a warning that their website is unsecure, so instead of paying with a credit card, I chose Paypal.

This is the third cider deal I have gotten off OzBargain. Still drinking my half price Koppabergs from a few weeks ago.

  • Lets hope its OK, 6 cartons to Brisbane for $60.
Thats $1.60 / 500ml, so certainly cheap enough

    • It's certainly not a sweet cider. Has a bit of a winey after taste.. Can't beat the price though.

    • Has anyone had their delivery turn up yet?
I have been trying to contact the seller for a tracking number but all I get are unanswered phone calls and emails.

  • Hmm.. I'm near Oakleigh today, wonder if they offer pickup.

  • ordered - thanks OP

  • ordered. excellent deal!

  • Put an order in. Thanks!

  • Cheers - just bought 2 cartons!

  • Is it good?

    BEST BEFORE 31.07.2012
    I called them to confirm.

    • how come they sell expired product?

      • Best before != Use by

        • I knew that, but there is a reason the manufacturer put a best before date on the products, and the merchant should have clearly informed the customers about the BB date

        • It's not as if the beer will suddenly become bad on midnight 31/07. So it the product has been stored well, you can get a bargain. Of course in shops you can check, but with online sales you have to pester them for the information.

    • wish I saw this earlier, there is no info on the website.

Was the info about the expiry date on the website on the 12th of September when I placed my order, or did they add it later?

I ordered on the 12th and do not recall seeing anything saying it had expired.

    • +1

definitely added later, and the BB date is July 31, 2012, not a bargain at all considering they are selling expired products

      • I emailed them and told them I want a full refund, and I am waiting for a reply. I tried googling but I cannot find anything specific about selling expired goods online.

If they refuse to refund me, I will be getting in touch with the relevant body. Don't know who one would contact, consumer affairs, office of fair trading, the ACCC (doubt it).

        • Got a refund! Very good service!
