vegetable seedlings .99cents were $3ish.

either "6 in 1" tray with 5cm-ish seedlings

various tomato varieties, beetroot, zucchini, etc.

or 10cm pot tomato

not that ever buy fruit or veg from woolworths unless on uber-special (I'd rather go to independent grocer or Aldi)

  Real Bargainers buy seeds, not seedlings :) $1 for hundreds of seeds.
  Most seeds are best (or can be) planted direct into the garden, which is less effort than transplanting seedlings.

  My local Woolies had 99c seedlings on clearance recently, they all looked half dead and not happy. The full price ones were definitely healthier looking.
