Hardback’s ftw
i thought the same until I saw my young kids destroy them. i normally buy hardback for me and paperback for kids.
Yeah paperback for kids 100%
How's the survivability of Kindles on kids?
But based on how many books they read, Kindles are probably overkill anyway…
my daughter seems to be ok with hers. seems sturdy although it is in a case.
im just frustrated that its not like kindle books are cheaper (case in point, the kindle version of the harry potter books are $70!).
@butter: So true. And don’t forget that digital assets with DRM are essentially licenses to use, not necessarily ownerships.
That's like asking why have sex, just watch porn.
It's the same 10 seconds isn't it? You don't have to pay after either.
You make a valid point. I concede.
@nomadspartan: Unless that's how you get paid.
Man I remember going out and buying these on opening day. Should really find out where they are stored
This was $30 recently
That deal lasted mere minutes.
Oft, I got in on this deal!
Still sitting unboxed, right next to my 2 childhood first editions.. 😅
$7.50 per book is a very good price. I wish all books were this cheap.
Random thing I learned recently and I hope is true:
The French word for "wand" is "baguette". So if you read HP in French, baguettes are choosing wizards, wizards are pointing their baguettes at each other, and Voldemort is seeking the Elder Baguette.
Picked this up on Catch for an absolute steal at $31.47 in April. Still not a bad price for the whole box set at this price.
Comes up as $62 for me, I'm confused
thanks, bought.
