  Short review:
  Bought 10/8 and arrived 21/8.
  Nice and small, fairly well made, performance is fine.
  Lid fits a little loose, rattles when tapped with a finger, one layer of tape underneath the slot end fixes this.
  Thermal pad is too small, doesn't cover the whole SSD. Also a little too thin at 1mm.
  The base plate is thin and makes light contact with the thermal pad but somehow cooling is very effective. My temps with a 256GB Samsung PM981a (OEM 970 EVO, maybe plus?): Bare 42/66C, silicon pad only 37/56C, with plate 35/45C. Running CDM 5x1GB Sequential Read/Write, 5Gbps USB port.

  Edit: To clarify, the SSD has 3 temps. The 3rd is higher and should be the controller, the first 2 are the same and lower.

    Is the body really completely made out of metal? It looks pretty thick and heavy (which is a good thing) if it is.

    I dont really need any more m2 enclosures atm but that very generous 10mbps cable pushed me over the line.
