Thanks I
what on earth is minifuel?
Anker's exclusive MiniFuel technology incorporates a stacked design to reduce the footprint of our chargers while increasing efficiency and heat dissipation for a better all-round charging experience.
Price is good but its nearly double the size of their GAN charger and only one port.
@techno2000: Personally I would wait and spend the extra on the Anker 735 Charger GaNPrime 65W
@RichardL: It's $59 atm, which seems like it's an ATL at Amazon
@anthman: That the old model (Anker A2667), not to be confused with the updated Anker A2668 GanPrime Model which is $74.99 Delivered @ AnkerDirect via Amazon AU
@RichardL: What's the difference, the footprint looks the same.
@boretentsu: Copied paste from haz's comment:
Power-allocation:
A2667 (Nano II 65W) has fixed power allocation for their ports. A2668 (GaNPrime) has an Intelligent power-allocation algorithm, that could automatically detect and adjusts the output of connected devices.Real-Time Protection:
A2668 has ActiveShield 2.0 which enhances protection by intelligent monitoring temperature and adjusting power output to safeguard your connected devices. The temperature is measured 35 times per second. According to the calculation of 8 hours of sleep at night, the temperature is measured more than 1 million times at night, which means 3 million times of monitoring throughout the day.Design:
A2668 is the industry's first to add two gallium nitrides inside, A2667 has a different chip and design but also has gallium nitrides inside.
Also regarding the 65W:
- Supports Super Fast Charging for S22 Ultra but does not support 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0.
If only it has swappable EU and US plugs…
Thanks OP, bought to pair with my 15" Air. Been using a dell 65W usb C charger but would like to use my magsafe cable (Didn't come with a charger as I purchased second-hand). Not fussed with GaN considering I don't travel much.
Sorry if i miss something but I use magsafe cable for my macbook pro too and it requires an usbc end. Thus, what’s the difference between a Dell charger and this charger?
My dell charger has a hardwired usb c cable (male end) so there's no way to plug a usb c to magsafe cable into it. Charger arrived today and I'm happy, will post a photo comparison
For anyone that cares, the 45W is a GaN Charger, whereas the 65W uses Anker's 'MiniFuel technology'.
