do you combine shipping if you buy more than one?

    • bought 2 free items.. They charged $10.47 shipping instead of $14…

Surely something like this would only be useful when jam packed as in the image, otherwise crap is going to still roll around as per usual, just inside the organiser rather than in the boot itself.

Looking at the images closely, if you did pack one of the compartments so that everything was snug, I think it'd still all probably tip over and move around as there's no counterweights to prevent it. You'd have to screw the thing down it at least six places to stop it moving around.

    • i've got one of these. It does work even when not jam-packed. Of course it's not gonna hold a bowling ball still as you do donuts on your neighbour's lawn, but things like jars and drinks do stay there with normal driving. It's soft so it can 'scrunch up' to reduce rolling.

(rolling around in the organizer is much more preferable to rolling all around your boot, hitting everything and making all sorts of noises)

i prefer to use a $7 storage box from kmart
comes with a lid, great for groceries

hey, we're ozbargainers - free fruit boxes from the miniskips at the back of shopping centres will suffice thank you very much :)

I've got similar to this from Aldi.

The benefit of that one is it has velcro on the bottom, so it sticks to the carpet in the boot and won't move when you take a corner too fast.

The main point as far as I'm concerned is to stop your shopping bouncing across the bootspace as you turn those stupid little roundabouts into chicanes.

      • I just use a cardboard box. A bit of Velcro at the bottom and it sticks to the carpet in the boot

      • those free boxes at dan murphy's have some funky designs. jaegermeister orange ftw!

  • Are they liquid proof … as some one who has had milk fall over in the back of a new car I can see the value in these if they cans top that again.

If your boot looks like the first picture, after the purchase your boot will magically transform into something like the first picture but with a car boot organiser on top of the pile.

    • That's pretty much what I'm picturing as well…

according to the picture this can turn a sedan into a station wagon? that is indeed a bargain

Good one, hahaha. I'm waiting for an offer for a Collapsible Car. (Yeah I know, any car is collapsible if you hit it hard enough. :))

    • the SUV is the gift with purchase ;)

    • Think it will work with my bicycle? ;)

Does it have a car boot?

        • yes… yes it does.

  • $7 seems like too much, it couldn't cost more than 50c to make these. Also, Bunnings sell a similar boot liner for about $3. It doesn't have compartments like this one - more useful for things like potting mix.

  • Something's wrong with the site. It says zero dollar!

That's right, you pay (inflated) shipping costs only.

      • but rep wont reply whether you can combine shipping for ordering more than one…

        • Go through to the last step and find out, let us all know.

        • Just checked…can't combine shipping

          http://www.ozstock.com.au/5283#shipping

"You will receive a 50% discount on the shipping rate for every additional item in one order. You will only pay full price shipping for the item with the highest shipping charge."

    • It is $0.00.. $6.95 is just the shipping.. OP should've mentioned that in the post

  • this is annoying, since when ebay shoddy inflated shipping costs migrated here?

  • i had one of these before. its a complete waste of money - sadly -> another contribution to landfill.

  • boo. have to provide street address.

did you expect them to email it to you? :)

      • in other words, they use couriers and don't deliver to PO boxes

        • It makes more sense when you use those other words.

        • well, that's the terminology Ozstock use: http://www.ozstock.com.au/help?tab=faq
"15. Do you ship to PO boxes?

Generally speaking no, for faster and more secure delivery of your orders we use COURIER services, which requires that you provide a STREET ADDRESS and a CONTACT PHONE NUMBER, and ensure someone is available during BUSINESS HOURS to SIGN for the parcel, otherwise delays may result."

        • +3

I think he means your first post makes more sense if you said "boo. they don't deliver to PO boxes" rather than "boo. have to provide street address".
