Well worth the money, I use it to automate my shower curtains

Great deal, but note that SwitchBot had just today announced the Rod V3 with a smaller footprint, better mounting system to the mechanical unit, quieter and stronger motors and a better solar panel. Who knows how long they'll arrive on our shores though. Been using the Rod V2s for a bit now and they are great for automation. The only setback for me is the solar panels where they need a "light level of 6" to charge, with them I still need to charge the main units after a year. While the new ones supposedly offer low light charging and hopefully you can just buy the new solar panels and use them for the older systems.

    • Hello,

Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. Purchasing through eBay always makes communication challenging. I cannot comment on your exact case as I do not know who you are, but with tens of thousands of orders placed with us and six years running, we have very positive reviews across all channels and even on eBay. Sorry that your case was not settled quickly; however, it sounds like you resolved the issue. If you ever want to discuss it, please email us, and I would be happy to help. Ask for me Calum.

    • Sorry to hear you had issues, I've bought a few things from Oz Smart Things over the years but not through their Ebay store, haven't had any issues.

I have bought through eBay stores for other retails though … with issues … even cases like the manufacturer not 'allowing a warranty' because i bought it new through an ebay store of theirs.
