      If you get the app, it allows you to use your Westpac digital card there.
      I did that before I received my debit card.

      • How do I log onto the app? I don't even have login details.

        Westpac hasn't sent me anything, just rang me today and asked me some final questions and then said okay, you're approved. Got a SMS a few mins later saying im approved.

    Is this 27% going to be the standard cashback rate, or is the 27% on some tiny subset of BWS products ? I've been caught out a couple of times recently by Shopback highly deceptive borderline scam headline rates.

      27% should be the upsized rate across all products except those listed in the don’ts
      If not they would advertise it as “up to” :)

    www.bws.com.au/productgroup/clearance - should be some decent spirit clearance prices around as the range review is currently on. Products and prices will vary from store to store, so try a few nearby.

    • Have posted this previously and it is useful. But I've since noticed that not everything a store has on clearance is tagged as such.

      However everything on clearance is also tagged as being on 'special', so it does pay to check the specials as well. Found a few ridiculous spirit clearance prices last time this way, but they weren't tagged as clearance products.

      Cashback normally doesn't include the GST portion, so it would be $100 + GST = $110 spent to get $27 back from SB + $10 from WP

          As usual with SB, if "per member" isn't specified, then it's per transaction (which includes the Westpac portion).

    Which of these after 27% cashback is the best?

    • I'd be going Bruichladdich, packs some decent flavour at 50%. Not sure if it's a 10yo Age statement any more though. After that the Glenfiddich 15 might be a decent go; I've heard the St Agnes punches above its weight (if you can get over the fact it's an Australian Brandy).

      • Yeah, I don't mind buying a few as they would be 50% off Dan Murphys prices.

        I don't drink much spirits, but good to have a few extra bottle for friends.

        It's better value than wine!

    I don't see the Westpac 10% Bonus Cashback

    • I can confirm it’s still there as I just checked. Are you currently having an eligible Westpac card that’s linked to your ShopBack account?

      • I can't see it either. I added my westpac debit mastercard but on the westpac page it still says add westpac card.

        • Shopback app does shows the westpac 10% bonus cashback. I just clicked through via the shopback app, hopefully it get tracked.

    • strange, mine have all tracked slightly under the 27% and 10%. I will have to contact Gotyourback

      • Im sure you already did the math but for my situation just FYI (and to confirm your own tracking), my 55 spend was inclusive of GST also, so yeah defs reach out to GYB to get it sorted out, you shouldn't have to do extra math, should literally be 27% (max 27bux) of whatever you spent up to 100bux spend, and 10% (max 10bux Westpac bonus) up to 200 spend.

  • not tracking at the full 27%…and no it isn't because of GST, as that would make it even less….so shopback and westpac bonus are tracking just under the 27 and 10%….more like 26.33% and between 9.94% and 9.75%
    example one transaction was $102, so should get the max amount of $27 and $10, but only got $26.85 and $9.94 I did multiple purchases and so far the first 2 are under

    Placed multi orders. Some stating "calculating" and associated westpac bonus at 0.00. Fingers crossed they both update 🙃

  • Gah…their website is a POS. Gets me to put in location and closest store, then still shows me all the stuff that's not available. So many listings of stuff that's no longer available. What's with 2 places to set location…and Find option hasn't found me what I want in any store.

  • I placed an order at 19:11 yesterday for $145.80 and paid the full amount via Paypal. Shopback has recorded the correct BWS order number but the cashback amount shows as "Calculating" instead of expected $27. Haven't seen this before, anyone else got this issue ?

    • This has happened before to me and I contact the rep and they fixed it. Only happens with bws for some reason.

            Ive had 3 of my cashbacks rejected from the last Liquorland deal. Raised a claim on the click activity, uploaded the invoices. Even advised that I had used the mobile app. I still got a rejection on the claim with a generic response: You've clicked on another browser extension….

            This time (BWS) I placed 3 orders (the proper way by going back into the app and clicking into the store): the first one got tracked with the correct value and the remining two are tracked but showing 0 for westpac and 0 for the standard cashback.

            I always thought that the app is the safest way, but now looking back into my click history ive realised that I have missed at least 2 more (which are now past the 30 days of submission).

            I am going to raise a claim again, but I have less hopes.

            EDIT: I cant even raise a claim against the 0 cashbacks as it says order is already tracked with 0 cashback…

            • @vikme: I'm in the same boat… Second transaction tracked but zero dollars. I rang bws and told them I can't collect until mid week. Will see what the shopback response is tomorrow before cancelling.

          • @gotyourback: @gotyourback Any general updates you can share? For me only the 1st out of 3 of my orders shows an amount, the last 2 calculating and $0 for Westpac.

    Hey mates, I've been looking into the sporadic tracking issues faced here from Friday, have an update that it looks like this is an issues on BWS's end, but we are working on this to ensure that this is fixed up ASAP. Will update here as soon as I have more information, but for now there's no need to reach out to me as we should be able to find a solution that blanket adjusts all Cashback for affected orders.

      does this include transactions that didnt track? or just the values of incorrect ones.
      I placed 2 orders in the time period, and see the 'click history' but never got a tracking confirmation. I figured it should be there by now.

      • Same thing happened to me.. got a page that just never loaded after checking out. Got an email confirmation straight away and then a pickup message the next day, but no tracking on SB. Ended up just putting in a missing cashback claim

        Hey mate, this is referring to purchases that have tracked but at an incorrect Cashback amount, if you've yet to receive tracking best to submit a Missing Cashback Claim so we can reach out to BWS on your behalf.

    • @gotyourback do you have an ETA on this being sorted ? Would be an issue if we can't reliably use your service when all the hoops have been jumped through correctly. If it's an issue with bws that needs to be resolved before you promote them in the future…. I and many others continue to have issues with them. I would not have made this purchase without the promotion and would have waiting for a Liquorland deal to stock up.
