If write speed matters to you, can get the much faster and higher rated (A2/V30) Samsung EVO 512GB for $48 from Amazon AU (need to find them in other sellers) https://www.amazon.com.au/Samsung-512GB-Micro-Memory-Adapter…

    • Yup I think Samsung Evo + Price match + Perks $10 from Jb hifi is the way to go

otherwise directly from amazon this deal is a better option

      • +6

Yup, just to put some numbers out there the Ultra writes at like 50-60 MB/s with a guaranteed min write of 10 MB/s vs the EVO which goes at 70-90 MB/s with a minimum write of 30 MB/s. The higher advertised read ("transfer") speeds of the Sandisk is irrelevant for most due to UHS-I speed cap which is ~100 MB/s.

I would say that this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/791786 is the best deal if you have access to the Samsung education or partner portal. The PRO is a higher tier card than the EVO but will behave the same in 99% of devices due to the UHS-I speed caps. Seems to be regularly flicking in and out of stock and is actually cheaper than the Ultra and EVO.

Or another option out there for the EVO that is better than Amazon is $43 delivered with Bing Lee if you have ebay plus https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/793034

        • Thanks! Missed that PRO deal and just got it now

          • @notauser: Crap! Out of stock again. :(
This is a superb deal. Thanks @eecan for the heads up.
