  • The extreme pro is also half price $43.79 for 32gb https://www.amazon.com.au/SanDisk-32GB-Extreme-CompactFlash-…

  • Can't believe this is still a thing! 1990s HDD tech lives on!

    • More like 2010 this one…

Good upgrade for an iPod mini.

  • Likely silly question, what 'sort of' card is this? I'm looking for a card for my Sony a7 Mark III, and the recommended cards look like 'normal' full size SDXC cards.

This is YE OLDE compact flash which only the A900 and similarly old Sony cameras took.
You’ll want a regular SD card, which also comes in extreme pro

      • Oh I see, thank you for the information!

        • I've used these in many Sony cameras with no issues.

These are just as fast as any other UHS-I SD cards in camera (both full size SD cards and more expensive microSD cards that are branded 'PRO' or 'Extreme').

You either go budget and buy these or you spend $$$ on V60/V90 UHS-II cards IMO (But the A7 III only has 1 UHS-II slot and doesn't benefit from or push the memory as hard as say, an A7 IV could).

          • @eecan: Awesome, that's very helpful, thank you!

          • @eecan: Please don’t use microSD cards in a camera.
$28 will get you a pretty decent 128gb card.

If you need bigger then you can do that too.

Full sized SD cards are more durable, and generally have better performance and endurance

  • did the Internet restore from backup today?

  • Bought a couple.
    Good deal. Thanks OP
